A man leaves his girlfriend at her parents' house when, by chance, he runs into her father and is forced to spend time with the family. Thus, we have a series of scenes with mostly static cameras, in which the man navigates various minefields with the family. For those who fall into the small niche of people interested in this kind of thing and have seen Roy Andersson's films since his comeback, this film will have a similar feel. Not quite as absurd, but with the same rhythm and dry humor. It's not quite a full-fledged Andersson film, but you know, pretty close.
