DC League of Super-Pets proves that execution is the deciding factor, as the efforts of those involved, including an impressively assembled voice cast, are as entertaining as they are occasionally trite, even if they do quite a bit to elevate a concept that is, in at best, second-rate in targeting younger audiences. The movie to hit the big screen Co-written and directed by Jared Stern and co-directed by Sam Levine, the film is based on the team of super pets created by Jerry Siegel and artist Curt Swan.to be honest, has a fairly straightforward script with minor deviations and surprises. The script was written by John Whittington, who previously collaborated with Stern on the Netflix animated series "Green Eggs and Ham. This appears to be a direct sequel to the story told in the upcoming animated movie about the animal companions of DC superheroes. My only quibble is that one of the ones included was NOT originally an animal companion "Chip" was a fully intelligent alie...
