Korean thrillers are often moving and offer a unique narrative despite relying on classic tropes. The Price of Confession is a prime example. While it appears to be a conventional crime series, it's deeply twisted and feels fresh. It tells the story of two women, both in prison for murder.  One claims she didn't kill her husband, while the other confesses to murdering a couple without remorse. But when they meet in jail, the latter makes the former an offer she can't refuse: "I'll make a false confession for you, but you'll have to commit a real murder for me." It's an intriguing premise from the start, and the way the husband's murder is recreated multiple times will certainly make you doubt whether she actually did it. It's a twisted tale of revenge, sisterhood, friendship, power, and much more.
