 Netflix's new Danish romance series, Mango, revolves around Lærke, an established architect who worked for the real estate firm Weltzer and had practically dedicated her life to it. She had always wanted to build something from scratch in Málaga, but when her boss, Joan, offered her the opportunity, she wasn't sure it was the right time. She had promised her daughter, Agnes, that she would take her to Bornholm and didn't want to cancel her plans.  However, her boss was persistent and encouraged her to bring Agnes with her to Málaga. Her daughter wasn't happy about the sudden change of plans, but Lærke didn't have much of a choice. Her job was to convince the owner of a mango farm to sell his property to Weltzer, and Joan was confident that Lærke would succeed. Although neither Lærke nor Agnes expected to spend their vacation in Málaga, they soon realized it was probably for the best.
