"Supergirl" possesses some truly solid qualities, but it never quite rises above the level of a merely decent superhero adventure movie. I wouldn't call it a disappointment, but it certainly isn't one of those productions that will redefine the genre. From a technical standpoint, "Supergirl" falls into that category of films where, after a few months, it is hard to recall more than two or three moments.
