 Following the trend of adapting best-selling novels for onscreen consumption, Netflix has released a trailer for its new Spanish-language crime thriller series, The Snow Girl. Based on the work of Javier Castillo, the series is set in Malaga in 2010, when the city celebrates the Three Kings Parade. Despite being the most beautiful time of the year with the festivities, the Martín family is left with a bitter reality when his little daughter Amaya disappears among the crowd of people. The sneak peek opens with questions: "How long until we find her?", "Why are they doing this to us?" while the search for the missing Amaya continues. The available clues seem slim as a voice asks, "But you do have clues, right? The tape, the room. As the search for the girl continues to the constant cries of 'Amaya!', there appears to be little hope and the parents are faced with the disconcerting reality that their daughter might be dead.
