Alfonso (played by Sermonti) has always dealt with a challenging relationship with his father (played by De Sica). However, when his father falls ill, Alfonso discovers a long-kept secret about his father's true profession as a gigolò.  In the midst of a crisis with his wife (Angiolini) and facing financial difficulties, Alfonso decides to change his life by following in the unconventional footsteps of his father. This unexpected turn leads him to discover a completely new version of himself.
