 When a stranger showed up at Ali and Jeff's doorstep, their lives were turned upside down. Jeff Fisher's dramatic thriller, "A Stranger in My House," centers on Ali and Jeff, a married couple who were horrified to discover that Katie was not their biological daughter. The stranger, Tom Truby, claimed to be Katie's father and explained that he, too, was shocked to learn that his daughter, Liv, was not biologically related to him and his wife.  Tom's late wife, Bella, had ovarian cancer as a result of a genetic mutation in the BRCA gene. Fearing the cancer was genetic, Tom decided to test his three children for the genetic mutation, and while he was relieved to see they all tested negative, he also discovered that Liv was not a genetic match. It was then that Tom began to dig deeper and thought there might have been a mix-up at the hospital.
