It's truly amazing what Hallmark Channel is accomplishing right now. After years of being labeled a one-dimensional network, it has responded brilliantly. Now it offers deeper programs and thought-provoking stories that reflect everyday life, and its holiday programming has also been revamped. Gone are the days when the network presented a simple winter love story; its holiday movies now offer depth and stories that also reflect the world and its inhabitants. Furthermore, this narrative universe now features stories designed to attract new fans. Since the beginning of this season, we've seen holiday storytelling and science fiction come together in A Newport Christmas, and last year… we saw the franchise reach out to football fans with its Kansas City Chiefs-themed love story.
