When it comes to a time loop story, there are movies that do well because they have more information as the movie progresses. The protagonist will try to fix his life at that time with the knowledge that he acquired as he grew up. However, once they realize that it was all a rite of passage for them to learn and become the person they will become, everything that happened doesn't matter. The time loop can get tiring to watch, but sometimes it takes a fun cast and a good director to set a different tone than the generic gimmick. In One More Time, Amelia returns to 2002 and wants to relive how special it felt at 18. It was important to her to see what life was like before she got old and lost herself.
