 Netflix has presented an invitation to Skull Island, via a release date and the first trailer for the Legendary Television animated series. Set to drop in all episodes on Thursday, June 22, Skull Island promises to take viewers on "an exciting adventure in which a group of kind-hearted explorers rescue Annie (voiced by Parenthood's Mae Whitman) from the ocean, unaware that their act of heroism will lead them to the treacherous Skull Island, home to strange creatures and terrifying monsters, including the mighty Titan Kong." Stars: Darren Barnet, Benjamin Bratt, Mae Whitman Skull Island boasts a talented cast that brings the characters to life. Nicolas Cantu, who played Gumball on Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball, takes over the role of Charlie.
