I didn't really know what I was about to see, but the animation of the sign caught my attention. I also noticed its Oscar nomination this year, for animated film, so this caught my attention as well. I wrapped up my wife and kids and went to see the screening in a small movie theater with beanbags (and other kids on them) all over the floor. It started without words, so the children immediately realized this fact and reported it. It continued with images, a fabulous soundtrack and sensitive tones, that you cannot ignore, whether you are a child or an adult. No words need to be said to understand the loneliness of a dog living in New York in the 80s.
