A first look at the highly anticipated Disney+ series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" was released at D23 Expo on Saturday. The Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians has already been potentially renewed for season 2 if its lead star is to be believed. Set to premiere on the streaming platform in early 2024, the series is the latest live-action adaptation based on Rick Riordan's children's book series of the same name, which follows a young man named Percy Jackson who discovers that he is the son of Poseidon and is taken to Camp Half-Blood, a training ground for demigods. The property was originally adapted into a pair of films: 2010's Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and 2013's Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, starring Logan Lerman in the title role.
