Hariprasad Jayanna's Padavi Poorva is unprecedented nostalgia. It takes the audience back to 1995-96 and presents a contrast to today's life dictated by technology. The film has a certain charm, especially since it primarily engages with a sizeable audience. Padavi Poorva, which means undergraduate takes place in and around a university. Pipi Naveena (Pruthvi Shamanur), recently admitted to the PUC, is the blue-eyed boy at school, for whom friends are a priority. Enter Nithya (Anjali Anish) for whom Naveena develops a special feeling. While Naveena has dreams of him for the future since his father wants to see him as a doctor, fate has other plans.
