The ending of Mountainhead is a surreal twist that reminds us that humanity is on the brink. The HBO Max TV movie tells the story of four tech bros taking their usual weekend getaway to the title location, one of their homes, in the middle of a snowy mountain range. The billionaires have gathered to relax and have a fun weekend, but this, of course, is impossible when you're a billionaire whose app has practically set the entire world on fire.  In Mountainhead, Jeff can be considered the "good guy." He has what you might call a great sense of self-control and is level-headed, despite his growing wealth and position in the world.
