The series follows a young documentary filmmaker who interviews an infamous serial killer and, in doing so, opens a door to dreams, ghosts, first love, and a dark past that refuses to stay buried. Watching the first few episodes of "If I Hadn't Seen the Sun" was like entering a room where the lights constantly flicker; you're never quite sure what you're seeing, what's real and what's a disturbing memory.
