 The fourth episode of the 1923 season two brought both good and bad news for the Dutton family. Obviously, more bad news could be on the way, as Jake's enemies were stalking them from all sides, though for the time being, the family breathed a sigh of relief to discover that their wagon master, Zane Davis, was out of danger.  Dr. Miller successfully performed brain surgery and drilled into Zane's skull to pump out the blood backed up in his head. The surgery helped Zane walk again and see as clearly as before. And as for more good news, Dr. Miller informed the family that his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, was pregnant. This means that Elizabeth, or Liz, won't be leaving the Yellowstone ranch to return to Boston. Or will she? Well, the episode raised no such discussion. Perhaps she'll be gone until winter is over and return in the spring to give Jack and their relationship another chance. I'm pretty sure the news of the baby will influence Liz's decision to leave ...
