1923 2025 Tv Series Season 2 Review Trailer Poster

The fourth episode of the 1923 season two brought both good and bad news for the Dutton family. Obviously, more bad news could be on the way, as Jake's enemies were stalking them from all sides, though for the time being, the family breathed a sigh of relief to discover that their wagon master, Zane Davis, was out of danger.

Dr. Miller successfully performed brain surgery and drilled into Zane's skull to pump out the blood backed up in his head. The surgery helped Zane walk again and see as clearly as before. And as for more good news, Dr. Miller informed the family that his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, was pregnant. This means that Elizabeth, or Liz, won't be leaving the Yellowstone ranch to return to Boston. Or will she? Well, the episode raised no such discussion. Perhaps she'll be gone until winter is over and return in the spring to give Jack and their relationship another chance. I'm pretty sure the news of the baby will influence Liz's decision to leave the ranch; we'll find out more about that in the next episode. But until then, let's recap all the events of Episode 4, 1923.

Creator: Taylor Sheridan
Stars: Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Brandon Sklenar

The end of Episode 3, 1923, suggested that the suspicious man who had followed Alex into the women's restroom would try to rob her, and that's exactly what happened in Episode 4. He knocked her down and took all her money, along with her family jewel, the bracelet she wore on her wrist. He even kicked her in the stomach, after which she fell unconscious. Luckily, Alex woke up just in time and was able to catch the train to Billings. However, as soon as Alex entered her cabin, she told the lady that she had been robbed and the thief "stole everything." I could be wrong, but I think her words suggest she might have lost the baby. Perhaps we'll get confirmation in the next episode, but for now, Alex just needed to get some rest. She herself didn't know how she was going to cover the rest of the trip to Montana, especially without money.

Those who had seen the 1923 trailer for the second season already knew what Whitfield had been planning from the beginning. He wanted to take over Dutton's land to build a winter park at Yellowstone Ranch. He believed that, in the future, when people grew bored with their concrete lives, they would travel to experience a world opposite their own. It would be wild, untamed places like Montana that would serve as an escape from their comfortable lives.

And Whitfield would sell that timeless experience to city dwellers, offering them a spiritual gift that would bring them the peace of mind they sought. He wanted to carry out his dream project in three phases: propose to the state to build an airport in Montana so that tourists could easily visit from anywhere in the world.

Second, he would pressure the state to build roads and organize transportation connecting Paradise Valley to the airport so tourists could reach the resort. And third, he would lay the foundation for the resort in a place where people could ice skate, sled, and ski. However, Whitfield's friends were still confused about the type of investment he was seeking, and that's when Whitfield revealed that the state would pay for the infrastructure; he just wanted investors for the resort community. I guess he was selling the resort land to his wealthy friends to make a profit on his land.

As soon as Banner heard Whitfield's proposal, he quickly pointed out that his dream project is located right above Yellowstone Ranch. It was precisely at that moment that Whitfield reminded Banner of the army he had promised him when he first came to his house seeking help in getting revenge on the Duttons. Later in the episode, Banner informed his master that he had secured about 35 shepherds. But wait... for what? My guess is that Banner would send these men out to graze on the Dutton land, and as soon as they tried to get revenge, Banner and his men would shoot them, murdering the family in cold blood on their own land.

In short, Whitfield wanted Banner to get rid of the Duttons on his behalf, and once he'd killed them all, he wanted him to dump their bodies in the ghost town that lies somewhere on the Montana-Wyoming border. This was the same government-owned land where Jake's descendants, especially John Dutton, had been disposing of the bodies of their enemies. It's no man's land, literally. A ghost town with no inhabitants, which means no jury, no judge, and no sheriff. If he dumped the bodies there, no one would ever discover his crimes, or report them.

In the 1923 episode 3 finale, Spencer made the right decision by parting ways with Lucca, who was determined to deliver his cousin's illegal whiskey to a warehouse in Fort Worth. However, before he could do so, Lucca was stopped at a roadblock, where the police quickly apprehended him. It turned out that Lucca had told the police he wasn't traveling alone, but was accompanied by another hunter-like traveler. Because of this, one of the officers stopped Spencer on the road as he was heading to the train station and offered to give him a ride. The officer soon revealed his true intentions and told Spencer he should drive the whiskey truck to the address the Italian Mafia had given him so they could raid the place and shut down his illegal business.

Spencer wasn't keen on getting into another mess, but he had no other choice. He would have been locked up in a cell and spent five years behind bars if he had refused to comply with the officer's request. As soon as Spencer arrived at the warehouse, the officers hidden in the truck began shooting at the mobsters. Amid the chaos, Spencer managed to escape and ran toward the railroad tracks, where he boarded a freight train. But his worries didn't end there. Inside the train, robbers demanded he pay the tax for traveling with them, but Spencer refused to negotiate, so the man threatened to forcibly take his belongings as soon as he closed his eyes.

Spencer stayed up all night, but the next morning, after getting some sleep, he found a knife at his throat. However, it seemed these robbers had misjudged the famous hunter, thus leading to his tragic end. After killing the two thugs and sparing the young woman's life, Spencer jumped off the moving train to find another way home. Speaking of Teonna and her friends, they were having a great time helping the Texas cowboys with stray cattle, but this happiness was short-lived as they soon found wanted posters for Teonna at the Rodeo Arena, hinting that Marshal Kent and Father Renaud were close friends, and Teonna, her father, and her lover had no choice but to leave the place as soon as possible. The question here is: Will Kent catch Teonna before she can escape again, or will Marshal Mamie Fossett arrive in time to stop Kent and protect Teonna from his wrath? Well, we'll find out next week.

A Minecraft Movie 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

If you were to throw a bucket in Hollywood today, you could easily find a dozen video game adaptations in development, either as TV series or movies. They're all vying for the same thing: critical acclaim, huge box office revenue, or a sudden surge in streaming subscribers thanks to established fandoms. But it's a long shot: Will they become a "Borderlands" movie flop or a "Last of Us" hit? Next month, Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Microsoft are going for box office gold with a different kind of game-to-movie adaptation: "A Minecraft Movie." Director: Jared Hess Writers: Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener Stars: Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers For the uninitiated, Microsoft-owned "Minecraft" is a sandbox game that immerses players in the Overworld, a whimsical dimension made up of blocky, box-like voxels. There's no single story or single way to play: users can craft items, build structures, ba...

The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...
