The Full Monty returns as a limited series on Hulu, with plenty of exciting details surrounding it. Released in 1997 to rave reviews, the sleeper hit follows a group of out-of-work guys from Sheffield who decide to put on their own strip show to raise money for a friend in need. In addition to being outrageously funny throughout, The Full Monty was unique in that it tackled a number of serious men's issues that most movies gloss over. It featured stars including Robert Carlyle and Mark Addy, and was a critical and commercial success both in the UK and abroad. With a box office take of over $250 million (via The Numbers), The Full Monty obviously struck a chord with many viewers, and the upcoming series aims to recapture that same magic more than 25 years later.
