 Filmmaker Evan Oppenheimer's ("A Little Game") new film, "Peas and Carrots," has its world premiere tonight at Dances With Films. Eric Holmes, co-host of CinemAddicts, spoke with Oppenheimer about the film. In a significant portion of the interview, Oppenheimer candidly reflects on the various challenges he faced during production. The story centers on Joey Wethersby (Kirrilee Berger), a 16-year-old New Yorker whose parents formed a fleetingly successful band in the 1990s. That fact isn't the most surreal aspect of Joey's life, as he can travel to an alternate reality by uttering the words "Peas and Carrots."
