Camp Rock 3 2026 Movie Review Trailer Poster

*Camp Rock 3* left me feeling both excited and disappointed; at its core, there is a good movie here, but the script moves so hastily that the potential is never fully realized. The main plot works, but the romance develops too quickly, the competition feels rushed, and the consequences of the characters' decisions are barely explored. You can even guess who the five finalists will be almost immediately; that isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the lead-up to that point should have been far more thrilling.

The new cast is where the movie really shines. Malachi Barton does a great job as Fletch, though I wish they had stayed true to the "bad boy" persona hinted at early on, rather than turning him into such a soft character. Liamani Segura is fantastic as Sage; her competitive nature, emotional backstory, and relationship with her brother make for compelling material, and she truly comes across as a future star. Hudson Stone also surprised me as Desi: he is charismatic, a great singer, and has the potential to become a genuine teen idol.

Lumi Pollack is adorable as Rosie, but her character's transformation—from a cellist who claims she can't sing to an overnight pop star—felt completely unearned. It is yet another example of the script skipping over crucial stages of character development.

I also felt the trio of troublemakers was wasted. They were supposed to stir up conflict, yet their actions had hardly any consequences. Demi Lovato’s brief cameo as Mitchie was another letdown, as she adds almost nothing to the story.

There are positives, such as Sherry Cola’s consistently entertaining performance, but ultimately, I find this installment to be the weakest in the *Camp Rock* saga. The new cast has enormous potential, but the rushed script doesn't give them enough room to shine the way they truly could.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Dhurandhar 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Dhurandhar's story unfolds against the backdrop of significant terrorist attacks in India, focusing particularly on harrowing incidents such as the hijacking of flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999, the Parliament attack in 2001, and the devastating 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. The film depicts a daring covert operation led by the head of India's Intelligence Bureau, Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan. The film delves into the underbelly of Karachi, particularly the dangerous Lyari region, following the journey of Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh.  Hamza is introduced as an Indian agent who infiltrates Karachi's notoriously violent gang culture to dismantle terrorist operations from within. Structured in several chapters, the film introduces the viewer to a complex narrative that explores themes of revenge, sacrifice, and national security. The first half successfully intertwines traumatic real-life events with fiction, creating a thought-provoking plot that encourages audience...

Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
