Surely Tomorrow 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The first episode of "Surely Tomorrow" opens with Lee Kyeong-do, assistant manager at the Dongwoon Daily newspaper, working late on a report exposing businessman Cho Jin-eon's extramarital affair with actress Ahn Da-hye.

The article also reveals Da-hye's alleged drug use and mentions Jin-eon's wife, Seo Ji-woo, heiress to the JARIM clothing brand.

Stars: Park Seo-joon, Won Ji-an, Lee El

The next morning, as media outlets nationwide report on the story, Kyeong-do complains to his friends, Park Se-young, Cha Woo-sik, and Lee Jeong-min, about having to write a hard news article instead of entertainment news.

His friends realize Kyeong-do is anxious because Ji-woo, his ex-girlfriend, might contact him.

At work, his boss, Jin Han-kyung, scolds him for drinking early, and his colleague Kim Du-jin teases him. Kyeong-do works late again, looking at old photos of Ji-woo, which takes us back to 2007.

A flashback shows Ji-woo visiting Kyeong-do's university. Curious, she ends up following him to the job fair. There, Ji-woo is roped into helping at Se-young's drama club registration booth.

Kyeong-do and Ji-woo argue during their first encounter. Ji-woo manages to convince Kyeong-do to sign up for the club.

Kyeong-do follows her, asking her to apologize for speaking rudely to him, but Ji-woo invites him for a drink instead.

When Kyeong-do refuses, Ji-woo mocks his low alcohol tolerance.

Offended, he accepts, and they get drunk. She unexpectedly asks him if he wants to sleep with her, which surprises him before she leaves with her driver, Mr. Kim.

A drunken Kyeong-do is taken back to his dorm by Se-young. The next day, he tells Woo-sik and Jeong-min about his interest in Ji-woo.

At the university, Ji-woo pulls him out of class to hang out, teasing him again and asking him to drink with her later. Distracted all day, Kyeong-do goes to the drama club to be with his friends.

That night, Ji-woo receives a call from her mother, who criticizes her for returning from New York. Upset, she sits outside listening to music until Kyeong-do finds her.

They talk, take the bus together, share music, and start dating after she asks for his number. Back in the present, Se-young calls to check on Kyeong-do. She informs him that Ji-woo wants to talk to him, but he refuses and turns off his phone.

The next day, Du-jin bothers him again, and Kyeong-do receives a poetic text message from Ji-woo, immediately recognizing her style.

Another flashback shows them at a poetry recital. Ji-woo is bored at the event, but notices how much Kyeong-do enjoys the activity.

On the subway, Ji-woo asks Kyeong-do to recite his favorite poem, which moves her to tears. In the present, Kyeong-do leaves work late and runs into Ji-woo, who is waiting for him. They sit at a restaurant and discuss their lives.

Ji-woo compares herself to a character from the play Waiting for Godot, calling Kyeong-do "Godot" and claiming she waited for him endlessly. When he asks why she's bringing up their past, she calls him a coward.

A flashback shows Ji-woo meeting Kyeong-do's drama club friends. She leaves abruptly after a call from home, where her mother scolds her for refusing to return to the States and mentions her mental health, which upsets her.

Ji-woo takes a taxi to meet Kyeong-do, crying in his arms as he comforts her. She confesses her feelings to him, and he admits that she inspired him to join the drama club, which leads to their first kiss. In the present, Ji-woo tells Kyeong-do that she is moving to the UK and thanks him for freeing her from her marriage.

She reveals that Jin-eon blamed his depression and anxiety for the failure of their marriage. Furious, Kyeong-do listens as she asks him to write about her divorce, offering him an exclusive story. Heartbroken, he tells Ji-woo not to contact him again and leaves.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Dhurandhar 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Dhurandhar's story unfolds against the backdrop of significant terrorist attacks in India, focusing particularly on harrowing incidents such as the hijacking of flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999, the Parliament attack in 2001, and the devastating 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. The film depicts a daring covert operation led by the head of India's Intelligence Bureau, Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan. Structured in several chapters, the film introduces the viewer to a complex narrative that explores themes of revenge, sacrifice, and national security. The first half successfully intertwines traumatic real-life events with fiction, creating a thought-provoking plot that encourages audience...

Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
