Sunna, the founder of Masaka Kids Africana, tells us his story.

The organization, Masaka Kids Africana, provides support to children who are orphaned, homeless, or whose parents are unable to care for them. Sunna is the founder of this organization, and he reveals the true intention behind it: the noble cause of providing these children with a better life.

He explains that the Masaka region has the highest rate of HIV transmission in Uganda, and most of these children have lost one or both parents. He doesn't want the children to die on the streets or suffer abuse. Therefore, through this organization, he hopes to give them a better life and a new opportunity. And how do they achieve this? They do it by harnessing the power of music and dance. I can assure you that the children featured in this documentary are incredible dancers.
Their movements are flawless and amazing. You can see the genuine happiness on their faces when they dance or play the drums. For Sunna, this isn't just a "project." He understands the pain of these children. And I'm not just saying that. He tells us his story, how he left home due to the constant abuse he suffered from his stepmother. This led him to live on the streets to survive, rather than stay in a home where he was continuously mistreated. He provides the children with food, music, and games.
Sunna is not an ordinary man. He was the one who recognized the children's talent and encouraged them to dance. He filmed a video of the children dancing and uploaded it to YouTube. In a short time, the video went viral. This led to Kenzo, the singer whose song the children were dancing to, contacting him and organizing a concert in Masaka.
It's very touching to see how Johnny, a man who spent his childhood in this organization, gives dance lessons to these children. Even today, these children remain popular, giving Masaka worldwide recognition. They dance and move to the rhythm of the music, spreading their joy to everyone around them. These children have also captured international attention.
In less than an hour, Sunna and his children make us reflect on and appreciate what we have in life. Learning from his own hardships, Sunna never lost hope. In fact, he decided to ensure that these children wouldn't suffer the same fate he did. His mission is to improve the lives of these children. Now it's our turn to step up and support him so he can help many more children and give them the opportunity to grow and thrive.
