He Wasn't Man Enough 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Inspired by her 2000 hit of the same name, Braxton will star alongside Essence Atkins (First Wives Club) and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) in He Wasn’t Man Enough. The film premieres November 22 at 8/7c as part of Love of a Lifetime’s November romantic movie lineup.

In it, Braxton plays bestselling author Mel Montgomery, whose world crumbles when she discovers her boyfriend Richard (Thomas Cadrot, The Night Agent) has been cheating on her. When Mel learns that Richard is now engaged to his former college friend Monica (Atkins), the two women, with the help of Mel’s loyal best friend Candy (Brown), put aside old wounds to stay together.

Director: Stan Brooks
Writers: Tara Knight, Aireka Muse, Angela Nissel
Stars: Toni Braxton, Toni Braxton, Chezca Vega

What begins as betrayal evolves into a story of resilience and solidarity, proving that Richard picked the wrong trio. Because in the end, it was never about the man who let them down, but about the women who chose each other. Braxton's single, "He Wasn't Man Enough," peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for several weeks, and was number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart for four weeks.

Toni Braxton's "Breate Again," set for release in 2026, reunites Braxton with Atkins, along with Emmy winner Cree Summer (A Different World, Rugrats). The film follows three women—Jennifer (Braxton), Vanessa (Summer), and Evelyn (Atkins)—who meet as contestants on a dating reality show and experience heartbreak in the spotlight. Their mutual rejection sparks an unexpected sisterhood that takes them from Los Angeles to a new life in Seattle.

There, they navigate new beginnings, second chances, and the complicated and funny realities of dating, friendship, and family. Jennifer rediscovers her voice as an artist, Vanessa rebuilds her interior design business while opening herself up to love again, and Evelyn confronts her heartbreak by daring to embrace joy and possibility. Along the way, the women learn that while romance may come and go, female friendship is the love story that lasts a lifetime.

A Minecraft Movie 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

If you were to throw a bucket in Hollywood today, you could easily find a dozen video game adaptations in development, either as TV series or movies. They're all vying for the same thing: critical acclaim, huge box office revenue, or a sudden surge in streaming subscribers thanks to established fandoms. But it's a long shot: Will they become a "Borderlands" movie flop or a "Last of Us" hit? Next month, Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Microsoft are going for box office gold with a different kind of game-to-movie adaptation: "A Minecraft Movie." Director: Jared Hess Writers: Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener Stars: Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers For the uninitiated, Microsoft-owned "Minecraft" is a sandbox game that immerses players in the Overworld, a whimsical dimension made up of blocky, box-like voxels. There's no single story or single way to play: users can craft items, build structures, ba...

The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...
