In the roles of parents and teachers, they are crucial to the series. They are the backbone, without which the plot wouldn't move forward. The adults try to understand the teenagers while the latter struggle to make themselves understood.
A huge shout-out to the writers for creating a simple yet relatable script. The dialogue complements the script to offer us scenes that leave an indelible mark. We relive adolescence through the series, which gives us a glimpse into a future full of possibilities, as well as the vulnerability it entails. We are also shown teenage love, with its dose of tenderness and awkwardness. So, for those who have had a similar teenage life, this series can be a trip back in time.
