S Line 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The final episode of S Line will undoubtedly disappoint many people, especially because it feels like it's straight out of a completely different series. But after some research, I discovered that the webtoon picks up where the series left off. I'm not entirely sure if this is a prequel unbased on the original webtoon (since I haven't read it), but I think everything that happens in the series predates the webtoon's beginning. That said, the series still feels too rushed, resulting in an incredible number of abrupt changes, especially in the final episode, which feels like it's deliberately trying to break away from the previous five episodes and seek a new identity. But before this turns into a full-blown rant, let's move on to a recap of episodes 5 and 6.

Episode 5 of S Line begins with a girl from Sun-A's school named Ji-Na showing up at the police station to report a classmate who's training to become a K-pop idol. As you know, by then Jin-Wook was already wearing glasses and was even trying to verify if Sun-A's classmate he'd spoken to earlier was the one who had slept with her. Ji-Na had no proof of his assault and took a week to report it because she didn't want to believe what had happened to her. Furthermore, she had four "S" phrases, but she blamed a boy who didn't even connect with her. Jin-Wook immediately dismissed the case, proving his misogynistic nature, but it was Hyun-Heup who told him he was wrong and needed to investigate the situation further.

Ji-Na's case is especially sad because a girl who had no phrases suddenly had four a week later. She says she lost consciousness at some point in the K-pop trainee's apartment and then had no memory of what had happened. She only remembered finding blood on her underwear (which was inside out) when she returned home. After investigating the case in depth, Jin-Wook realizes that four boys entered the K-pop trainee's building on the day of the attack. It turns out they were the ones who attacked Jin-A, but the trainee drugged her and then practically sold her to these boys. With minimal effort, they get a confession. Hyun-Heup asks Jin-Wook if they'll be punished, and he hopes so. He muses, "I wish I could give the judge my glasses."

Meanwhile, Hyun-Heup makes birthday plans (for the first time) with her new friends and plans to get to know Joon-Sun especially well. She also returns to the motel to see if there's more evidence, but Joon-Sun follows her and they share a tender moment because he's afraid. Later, Jin-Wook leaves Hyun-Heup early because she receives a call from the nursing home. It turns out her father has disappeared and is nowhere to be found. But security camera footage reveals that Kyu-Jin, the guardian, took him out of the hospital.

At the same time, Jin-Wook gets a photo of Sun-A in the hospital and rushes there first. At this point, was the niece's survival more important than her father's? But to her surprise, the big reveal at the end of episode 7 is that the man Sun-A is connected to is Jin-Wook's father—her grandfather, after suddenly appearing there (through Kyu-Jin, of course). Jin-Wook is so upset that he throws his own father to the ground, strangling him, but he can't kill his father, of course. However, he receives a call from Hyun-Heup pleading for help.

Episode 6 begins with a sex tape of a young college girl leaking online. She feels so bad that she even attempts suicide; however, Kyu-Jin, who looks completely different here, saves her and gives her a pair of glasses. We then get a flashback to Hyun-Heup and Joon-Sun's little motel date and see how delighted she is after finding the "S Line" that connects them. Soon after, Joon-Sun leaves Hyun-Heup alone so she can go get his birthday cake. But the next thing we know, he's dead, stabbed by a rebar at a construction site.

Hyun-Heup remembers why he thought he was cursed, then receives a video of Kyung-Jin on his phone from the same unknown number. This number is Kyu-Jin's, and she's been the one stalking Hyun-Heup. But in any case, she immediately calls Jin-Wook and asks for his help. He asks if she knew about her niece's "S Line," and she tells him that if she did, she would have told him. The duo then go to the school to find Kyung-Jin. But they soon realize they can't get out because they end up on an infinitely looping Penrose staircase, and they always end up on the same floor. Hyun-Heup decides it's best to go up to the roof.

Suddenly, the place transforms, and Jin-Wook finds himself in a new dimension. The college student is about to stab her lover because she wants to be reborn, and finally opens her eyes. At the same time, Kyung-Jin, who also has the glasses, tells Hyun-Heup that he must die so everyone can see the S-Lines. Hyun-Heup destroys the glasses, which brings her back to reality. When Hyun-Heup's cheek begins to bleed from a cut, the blood rises to the sky, and Hyun-Heup ends up in a new place where a group of cult-like people appear. Jin-Wook is already there, and Kyu-Jin has lifted him into the air, suffocating him to death, but Hyun-Heup stops her.

When Kyu-Jin tries to stab Hyun-Heup to death, her mother appears to save her. Hyun-Heup's mother tells him that his father's murder wasn't his fault, but that his mother had the glasses back then too. Hyun-Heup finally gets some closure, but Kyu-Jin stabs her as well. Blood surges, and a ball of red lines appears in the sky, upside down above the world as we know it. Kyu-Jin pops the red blur, showing everyone his S-Lines. Everyone believes Hyun-Heup is dead at that moment, but he wakes up (too late) and stabs Kyu-Jin.

Despite being an otherworldly being and telling Hyun-Heup that he won't die by a human hand, he ends up on the ground, and Jin-Wook and Hyun-Heup are the only two left standing. Hyun-Heup prevents Jin-Wook from getting the glasses back because he's afraid he too will turn evil. Eventually, everyone can see the "S-Lines," and Hyun-Heup has gray eyes. At the end of episode 6 of "S Line," Hyun-heup travels to Joon-sun's grave a year after the world turned red. At the same time, Sun-a wakes up and even mocks her uncle for embarrassing her with his lines. But most shockingly, the show ends with Kyu-jin returning to Hyun-heup and whispering her name in his ear.

A Minecraft Movie 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

If you were to throw a bucket in Hollywood today, you could easily find a dozen video game adaptations in development, either as TV series or movies. They're all vying for the same thing: critical acclaim, huge box office revenue, or a sudden surge in streaming subscribers thanks to established fandoms. But it's a long shot: Will they become a "Borderlands" movie flop or a "Last of Us" hit? Next month, Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Microsoft are going for box office gold with a different kind of game-to-movie adaptation: "A Minecraft Movie." Director: Jared Hess Writers: Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener Stars: Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers For the uninitiated, Microsoft-owned "Minecraft" is a sandbox game that immerses players in the Overworld, a whimsical dimension made up of blocky, box-like voxels. There's no single story or single way to play: users can craft items, build structures, ba...

The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...
