Kuberaa 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, is a story that speaks to the discrimination that exists in our society and the class inequality that affects the lives of so many people. Deva, a man who used to beg on the streets, never felt sorry for his own existence. He knew life was hard, but he still considered every day a blessing. But one day, his life changed when he ran into a man who treated him and others like him as cannon fodder. So let's find out what happened to Deva and if he managed to overcome the obstacles that came his way.

Neeraj Mitra's company, Global Enterprises, was given the responsibility of drilling offshore in the Bay of Bengal, and luckily, they struck gold. They found around 14 trillion cubic tons of oil, and Neeraj knew what it meant. He met with the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Siddappa, of the ruling party, and made him an offer that seemed interesting to him. He said that although the natural resources belonged to the people, he should take advantage of the situation and support their cause. He asked him not to tell anyone that he had found oil and then buy and sell it to the people at a subsidized price.

Neeraj believed people would see this as an act of kindness and that it would help Siddappa retain his position for the next two terms. Siddappa didn't take long to make his decision, as deceiving people and betraying their trust were things he didn't care about. But in exchange for making Global Enterprises the sole owner of that oil reserve, he demanded 100 million rupees, as he needed to take care of his own people and ensure everyone supported the plan. Neeraj asked his right-hand man, who was running the drilling operation, to eliminate everyone who knew about the oil. The media reported that the oil rig caught fire and everyone working there burned to death.

Neeraj was one of those men who didn't flinch before making the decision to kill people. For him, the life of an ordinary citizen had no value. He was the most terrible and impassive capitalist in the world. Neeraj needed someone who could handle the entire affair. He needed someone trustworthy and with the acumen to launder such a huge amount of money. He knew that transferring such an amount into the minister's account was not going to be an easy task, and the possibility of being discovered by the police authorities was very high.

It was at this point that his father mentioned to him that a former CBI agent who had raided and seized all his black money might be a good candidate for the position. That CBI agent was serving time after raiding a minister's house. Deepak Tej was paying the price for his honesty, and that minister made sure he wouldn't get out of prison anytime soon. Deepak rejected Neeraj's offer when they first met. But then the court didn't acquit him and found him guilty on all counts, and I think that's where an honest official lost faith in the whole system. Deepak decided to join Neeraj's company, and then the corrupt capitalist made sure he was acquitted of all charges and released.

Deepak decided that, to ensure the authorities didn't find out what they were up to, he needed to find people unrelated to Neeraj so the fraudulent transactions could be made in his name. Deepak didn't know where to find them, but later that day, while driving his car, he saw some beggars at the traffic lights. He realized that if he found beggars and opened shell companies in their names, he could launder the money and present it as a clean transaction.

Neeraj's men brought four beggars and forced them to stay at his guesthouse, where they were trained on how to behave so no one would suspect them. Deva, Khusboo, Dibya, and Khelu had no idea what was happening to them. These poor wretches were only concerned with getting something to eat and being satisfied. They did as they were asked, and it seemed the plan would be a success. Everything changed when Deepak learned that Neeraj was planning to kill them all after completing the benami transaction. Deepak tried to make him understand, but the latter didn't care whether the four lived or died.

Neeraj felt he was already doing them a favor, and that they would have met their fate on the streets anyway. This privileged man didn't hesitate to treat them like insects and didn't feel an ounce of guilt for what he was doing. Deepak knew it wasn't the right thing to do, but he followed orders, not wanting to go back to prison and be forced to separate from his family. Khelu was the first to die, and one of Neeraj's men, Robo, threw him to the sharks. Dibya became the second victim, and Deva realized that Neeraj and his men were up to something. She didn't want to die, and she also wanted to save the life of Khusboo, who was pregnant at the time. Deva managed to escape from captivity thanks to Robo's negligence. Deva felt Deepak was the only person who could help him, and he didn't know he was as involved in the whole scheme as he was, or even more so. Yes, I agree his conscience was still alive, but that didn't mean he didn't have blood on his hands.

Deepak was told he only had a limited time to find him and bring him back. Deepak tried for a long time to keep his conscience alive, but one day he couldn't bear it. He used to be an honest policeman, and he knew all he wanted was to stand in front of the mirror and look himself in the eyes. He wanted his children to be proud of their father when they grew up. He knew his family would pay a high price for it, but he still decided to help and expose Neeraj. Meanwhile, Deva met a girl named Sameera by chance. Her lover, after promising to marry her, abandoned her. She probably would have taken her own life had she not met this man, who, despite wearing decent clothes, claimed to be a beggar.

Deepak contacted Sameera when he learned that he had met Deva, and Deva called him on his mobile. For a long time, Deva believed that only Deepak could help him in his cause, but it was Sameera who told him that people weren't as trustworthy as he thought. Deva changed his mind when he realized how selfish the world could be. He decided that he would make the guilty pay for what they had done. He didn't want anything for himself, but he knew that even if he managed to force Neeraj to spend a fraction of the total money that would be invested in the deal, the lives of many disadvantaged people would be changed forever. Deva decided to hunt the hunter, and he feared nothing, for he knew that the worst thing anyone could do to him was kill him.

Deva called Deepak, hoping he would come and get him. That's exactly what happened, and Deva managed to kidnap him and take him to the apartment of Narayan Gaikwad, the government official who had facilitated the entire deal. Deva had already found a lot of cash in that apartment and was determined to use it to help the downtrodden. Deva asked Deepak to give him the money deposited in the Swiss bank account in his name. Deepak told Deva that he was on his side and had been gathering evidence to expose the entire scheme. He told him that so many people were involved in the scam that he wouldn't be able to do anything until he had proper evidence. Sameera, who was also present at the scene with Deva, told her not to trust Deepak, as the man had betrayed them once. But something inside Deva told her that Deepak wasn't lying.

She also learned that Deepak had saved Khusboo's life and made Neeraj believe that she had been murdered. Deva made it very clear to Deepak that if he allowed him to see Khusboo, he would do whatever he asked. Deepak took Sameera and Deva to where Khusboo was staying, but unfortunately, Neeraj's men tracked them down and arrived at the scene. Deepak handed over all the evidence he had gathered and asked him to run and save his life. Deepak knew that if he didn't stay back and stop Neeraj's men, they would all die, and Neeraj wouldn't be discovered. Deepak was shot several times, but even so, the man made sure that Neeraj's men didn't catch Deva, Sameera, and Kushboo. Deepak breathed his last, but before doing so, he told Deva to consider him her elder brother. Deepak, in those last moments, felt proud that he had done the right thing. Khusboo died after giving birth, and Deva and Sameera didn't know how to cope now that, on top of everything else, they had a baby to take care of.

That's when Deva pulled off a masterstroke: he dumped all the money in Narayan's house in front of Neeraj's house. Obviously, it became national news, and soon Neeraj realized he was up against a man who literally had nothing to lose. Neeraj called Deva and asked him what he wanted from him. Deva wanted to make Neeraj feel how unfair society was. He showed him a copy of the video Deepak had recorded as proof and asked him to beg on the streets for just one day. Neeraj was extremely upset, but he also knew he had no choice but to comply with Deva's request to save his life. In Kuberaa's ending, Deva and Neeraj came face to face, and the former managed to slit his throat and bring him to his fateful end. Deva had never killed anyone, but he understood that men like Neeraj didn't deserve to live.

Deva had been tortured all his life, and that's probably why he learned the importance of kindness as a virtue. He remembered how his older brother, Uppuli, helped him escape from the clutches of a human trafficker. He remembered how his mother told him to live every moment just before his last breath. Deva managed to withdraw the money from his Swiss bank account and decided to put it all in the name of Khusboo's son. He and Sameera named him Kuberaa. Deva wanted nothing for himself; he had no materialistic desires, having understood that life was much more than that. He just wanted to live in peace and do whatever he could for the well-being of the oppressed. I don't think he exposed the oil minister, as he found another corrupt businessman who paid him millions of rupees in exchange for access to the oil reserves.

A Minecraft Movie 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

If you were to throw a bucket in Hollywood today, you could easily find a dozen video game adaptations in development, either as TV series or movies. They're all vying for the same thing: critical acclaim, huge box office revenue, or a sudden surge in streaming subscribers thanks to established fandoms. But it's a long shot: Will they become a "Borderlands" movie flop or a "Last of Us" hit? Next month, Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Microsoft are going for box office gold with a different kind of game-to-movie adaptation: "A Minecraft Movie." Director: Jared Hess Writers: Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener Stars: Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers For the uninitiated, Microsoft-owned "Minecraft" is a sandbox game that immerses players in the Overworld, a whimsical dimension made up of blocky, box-like voxels. The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...
