Bitch X Rich 2025 Tv Series Season 2 Review Trailer Poster

Starring Red Velvet's Yeri, Bitch X Rich returns to our screens for a second season. This is one of those series I really couldn't stomach, and despite the intense school drama, I found the acting, writing, and plot twists to be quite dull and unbearable. But here we are with another season that begins with another student with a bobbed hairstyle falling from a school roof.

This time, however, it's not one of the poor girls; it's actually Si-Eun, the big villain from the previous season. We're only in the first week of the series, so no, we still don't have an answer as to who killed Si-Eun, but I really think the series fails to maintain connection and cohesion. Already two episodes in, the topic has shifted from Si-Eun to Je-Na's life. With that said, let's move on to episodes 1 and 2 of Bitch X Rich 2.

Stars: Lee Eun-saem, Kim Ye-rim, Park Shi-woo

Episode 1 begins with Hye-In arriving at school just as Si-Eun falls. She doesn't know what to do and can't even call the police. She tries to find Si-Eun's phone, perhaps because it contains evidence against her? Or maybe just to call 119, but Si-Eun is already dead. At the same time, we hear a voice recording where Hye-In tells Si-Eun not to post a video or send it to anyone, but then Si-Eun ends up dead. So what is this video? Is it the reason for Si-Eun's death?

At school, Hye-In is treated even more like an outcast because she is now the prime suspect in Si-Eun's death. Despite the police claiming they are only questioning her as a witness, Hye-In keeps making questionable comments that make her look like a suspect. Honestly, this girl seems to be getting more naive every day. The last person Si-Eun contacted was Hye-In, but Hye-In doesn't tell the police why they were blackmailing her. This puts her at greater risk of appearing suspicious.

Seo Hee-Su, the principal, claims he's going to rescue the school from this crisis, but he assigns all the work to his "useless" assistant. Si-Eun's parents somehow believe it's a suicide, or at least they claim they do, perhaps because the principal also forced them to. Elsewhere, Hye-In is being bullied again, and a new boy at school, who arrives on a motorcycle, helps her escape after she uses a fire extinguisher on the kids and has nowhere else to go. This boy is Lee Sa-Rang, Lee So-Mang's younger brother. The older brother helped Hye-In in the previous season. I wonder if the actor didn't want to try out for the second round.

Later that day, Hye-In finds Je-Na trying to get a taxi to find her mother. She has just learned that her parents' divorce and her father's scandal will soon be making headlines. Je-Na seems to think that simply saying "don't get a divorce" will change her father's mind, but she's obviously wrong. So she threatens to hurt her soon-to-be stepmother, which leads her father to slap her. But Je-Na is still worried about her mother, and Hye-In helps her reach her. Without reward, of course. Perhaps Hye-In feels compelled to help Je-Na in order to befriend her.

The next day, at the Diamond 6 nightclub, Yul-Hee and Je-Na seem to be fighting a secret battle. We know that Je-Na had already reported Yul-Hee's boyfriend for cheating on her with Hae-In. But Yul-Hee decided to stay with him, so it has nothing to do with Je-Na. The real mess arises when Hye-In arrives at school to find her father on his knees begging for forgiveness for what he did. It turns out that the bully who got hurt complained to her mother, so she threatens to sue. Instead of fighting, Hye-In also silently kneels after her teacher reminds her that she's the one who can't defend herself in this situation. She feels bad for putting her father in that situation and hopes she never has to do it again.

Episode 2 of Bitch X Rich 2 opens with a new kid named Jin-Wook joining the school. He seems to be the big fish of the season. He's the son of a wealthy family, just like Je-Na, and apparently, the first thing his parents have planned for his return is for him to meet a potential girlfriend, namely Je-Na. Of course, Je-Na thinks it's as low as her father can go, trying to sell her out so young because his mistress is probably pregnant with his child (pathetic!). But Jin-Wook seems to have other plans. He believes they can work together and not be pawns in his parents' game. Elsewhere, someone online calling himself Black Dog leaks details about the president's mistress, revealing that she was a teacher at the school. At home, Je-Na discovers that her stepmother has just moved out. Je-Na tells her she'll never be welcome and that her child will forever be a half-breed. Black Dog is probably one of the students, right?

On the other hand, Sa-Rang tells Hye-In that the only way she can protect herself is by joining the Diamond 6. Hye-In only has one way to do that: by striking a deal with Je-Na, but the problem is that she doesn't have much to offer. Je-Na already knows that Yul-Hee probably pushed Hae-In (whom we haven't seen yet this season), so the necklace Hye-In has is of no use to her. But upon leaving Je-Na's house, Hye-In finds Je-Na's stepmother arguing with someone on the phone.

Hye-In starts recording while Je-Na's stepmother seems to be being threatened by this mysterious caller. She then says that she will make her son the heir to the Hanmyeong group, no matter the cost. I don't know about you, but it makes me feel like the boy might not be Je-Na's half-brother at all. But I could be totally wrong. Meanwhile, Yul-Hee is making deals with the school principal to take disciplinary action against Je-Na. But Je-Na has a trump card: the necklace, proof that Hae-In's case isn't a suicide, but an attempted murder.

At the end of episode 2, Je-Na invites two new members to the Diamond 6 and gets rid of Do-Eon. Lee Sa-Rang is already in, but the new members are Jin-Wook and Hye-In. Jin-Wook can certainly make the highest donation, but how can Hye-In join? I'm not entirely sure, but we'll find out soon.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...

Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 2026 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The Netflix adaptation of *Steel Ball Run*—whose two-part premiere masterfully condenses the first two volumes of the manga—stands as a celebration of Hirohiko Araki’s creative clean slate. While *Steel Ball Run* serves as a highly recommended entry point into *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure* for newcomers, much of its value lies in a prior familiarity with the six-part saga created by Araki. And although the prospect of diving into such a vast and chaotic world may seem intimidating, that very familiarity makes the thematic brilliance of *Steel Ball Run* all the more poignant. Throughout its first six parts, *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure* told a fascinating saga centered on the legacy of the Joestar family. The franchise's seventh installment, *Steel Ball Run*, transports this globe-trotting adventure story to the United States of the 1890s. Araki has crafted a standalone narrative continuity that draws heavily upon the mythology already established within the *JoJo* universe.  Star...
