The film about Vinicius Junior, despite its interesting source material, leaves more questions than answers. It is clearly aimed at fans of the footballer, but even they might not find what they are looking for. Instead of telling a deep and interesting story, the film often immerses itself in clichés and superficial moments, without revealing the true personality of the hero.
The film suffers from a lack of originality: many moments in his life, such as his successes on the field, his difficulties adapting to Real Madrid, and his worries about criticism from the press, are shown in a way that is too trivial and lacking in emotion. Rather, it is a set of standard scenes, typical of any other film about a sports career. The most important episodes in Vinicius's life, such as his fight against racism and his personal experiences, are presented weakly, without revealing his true inner conflicts.

The film also fails to live up to expectations in terms of visual presentation. The images of the football matches are monotonous and do not differ much from standard sports reports. The Brazilian landscapes, which could have been vibrant and lively, are used merely as a backdrop and don't provide the depth the film could have provided. Instead of showing Vinicius as a unique person, his life feels more like an advertisement for a sports success.
The film also drags at times, and its pace feels forced. Most scenes seem pointless or even superfluous, unrelated to the key moments in the footballer's life. As a result, the film becomes tedious and even boring.
This film will disappoint rather than inspire. It doesn't develop its theme adequately, offers nothing new, and leaves the feeling that Vinicius's story could have been told in a much more vivid and meaningful way.
