Harting collaborated with Jacob Butler, the CFO of OCM Bank, to siphon small amounts of money from his clients. While it wasn't a big deal for the wealthy, the poor felt the consequences immediately, but since no one cared about the downtrodden, Harting seamlessly funneled all that stolen money through Raymond's butcher shop and Jali's nightclub.

However, everything fell apart last season, leading Harting to broker a deal with the French. He claimed it was to "better South Africa," but it was clear he was just trying to make up for the losses he'd suffered.
In a surprising turn of events, Zenzi teamed up with Raymond to gather information on Harting's illegal operations, confront him at his gala about his collusion with the French, and make him pay for his sins. Did Zenzi succeed, or did she strike a lucrative deal with Harting that would secure the future of her and Max's unborn child? Let's find out.
If it wasn't already clear from Visser's treatment of Naledi, it was revealed in the season two finale of Unseen that the detective was working for Harting and was hell-bent on punishing her and Zenzi for acting against his boss. He had the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone when the police, led by Davids, surrounded Harting's gala after learning of Zenzi and Raymond's presence.
However, his plans were thwarted by the presence of Morkel, who was there to ensure that neither Zenzi nor Raymond died during the assault, as they were key to solving the mystery surrounding Harting's business dealings. I found it quite absurd that Visser twisted her ankle just before approaching Harting's estate, as it forced Morkel to stay with her instead of joining the action with the rest of the police. I found it almost misogynistic, as I thought the showrunners were implying that women aren't cut out for this.
The Unseen Season 2 finale revolved around Zenzi deciding whether to kill Andrew Harting or forget all the horrors he had inflicted on her and go to Harare, Zimbabwe, to raise her unborn child under the care of Max's mother. So imagine my surprise when Visser revealed that she had faked her injury to corner Morkel and kill him to prevent him from ratting out Harting. Luckily, Morkel was a few steps ahead and had advised Davids to give Visser an unloaded gun after suspecting her intentions, and she ran away.
