HIT: The 3rd Case 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, Hit: 3 works tirelessly to portray Nani, the protagonist, as the deadliest super cop, but in the process, they forget that without a good script and execution, nothing could save their cause. I felt the makers had an idea of what they wanted to do but failed to execute it properly. They also approached the main plot so superficially that I never managed to connect with the characters. The idea of a religious cult running an organ trafficking syndicate had potential, but the makers squandered it.

I have always believed that a protagonist is only as good as their nemesis. Prateik Babbar's character was reduced to such shallow gimmickry that it made the entire narrative seem rather frivolous. That said, let's find out what happened in the film and whether super cop Arjun Sarkaar managed to save the day or not. At the beginning of Hit: 3, Arjun Sarkaar murdered a couple of people, and we didn't know his motive. He also recorded the entire act, which gave the impression of an extremely sadistic man.

Arjun had anger issues and sometimes acted in the heat of the moment, but he wasn't a corrupt cop. He was an honest man with his own way of doing things, so it was a shock to see him brutally massacring people. The film took us back a few months to when Arjun was posted in Jammu and Kashmir and assigned to a murder case. A local man, Adil Quadri, was convicted of murdering an innocent person; like Arjun, he had recorded the entire act with his phone. The cut on the victim's body was made with such precision that Arjun realized the local man was being guided by an expert. The victim was hung upside down, and a small cut was made on his neck. The killer waited for the blood to drain, after which he removed some organs and kept them in his house. Arjun was just beginning his investigation when he learned that another person had been murdered in Arwal, Bihar, in the same manner. The killer, even there, had recorded everything and removed the organs from the victim's body. Arjun decided to leave for Arwal immediately and, with some difficulty, managed to bring the killer back to Srinagar. Arjun wanted to find out if both killers belonged to any syndicate or if they had known each other before. Arjun knew there was a link between the two, and that it was not a mere coincidence that they had committed the murder in the same way.

Arjun decided to create a misunderstanding between the two killers and see if they would eventually reveal the truth in the confusion. Arjun's plan succeeded, and he learned that they both worked for an organization called CTK (Capture, Torture, Kill). Before Arjun could obtain more information about CTK, the people of Azad Kashmir took to the streets to protest the police. Two members of their group had been killed by Arjun, so they wanted him removed from the case immediately. The situation became complicated after Adil Quadri committed suicide in police custody, realizing that Arjun and his team would torture him until he told the truth and gave them all the information. Karnika Ahuja, Arjun's superior, realized that the media and locals would exaggerate everything and blame them for what happened. She took the call to transfer Arjun, and thus he was no longer part of the official investigation team.

Arjun was officially removed from the case, but that didn't stop him from investigating CTK further. Arjun learned that to become a member of the CTK syndicate, one had to murder two people, record the entire act, and upload it to the website. Arjun realized that it was nearly impossible to trace the IP address of the perpetrator. Every year, all members of the organization met in a secret location, and Arjun knew this was the only way to catch the perpetrators and make them pay for their sins. Arjun realized that he had to be part of the organization if he wanted to catch the perpetrators, and so he decided to murder two people and post the video on the CTK website. When ASP Varsha discovered what he was up to, Arjun told her that the people he had murdered were pedophiles who had tortured and abused minors. Once the videos were posted, Arjun joined the organization. He received an invitation to attend the annual meeting where all the psychopaths gathered under one roof and exchanged ideas about how they wanted to wreak havoc on the world.

The organization was led by a man named Alpha, who wanted to create an army of assassins to break the law and establish their own rules. Apparently, Alpha wanted to create a world where everyone could act as they pleased. He challenged established norms and told his followers that he didn't want anyone telling him what was right and what wasn't. Alpha wanted to challenge the judicial system, as he believed that the courts, the administration, and the police should not prevent him from doing his bidding. I don't know if Alpha really wanted to wage war, if he truly believed in what he preached, or if it was all just a tactic to brainwash people. Alpha made huge profits from the illegal trafficking of human organs, and he needed psychotic elements capable of murdering people as if it were a game. He wanted to make people believe that being associated with the organization was a matter of prestige. The local police, under the leadership of Dhanya Mohan, had realized Alpha was plotting something, but were unaware that he was running such an organization. Dhanya Mohan was brutally murdered by Alpha as soon as he learned of his intentions.

Alpha ran an elaborate secret organization, but for some reason failed to discover that Arjun Sarkaar, who was attending its annual meeting, was a police officer. They asked Arjun to take the Arunai Express and get off at Naharlagun Station in Arunachal Pradesh. They told him someone would come and pick him up at the Borum Road bus stop. Arjun told his team to follow him, but Alpha was clever enough to outsmart Arjun's team. Arjun was taken to the ruins of the Burmese palace, located deep in the forest. Hundreds of sociopaths gathered to welcome the new members. It was literally hell, and Arjun knew he would have to defy the odds to get out alive.

The love story between Arjun and Mrudula was another strange and unnecessary subplot. Mrudula saw Arjun when she was in the police academy and fell in love with him instantly. She decided that she would marry him one day, but the problem was that Arjun never wanted to be with a girl from the same profession. So Mrudula lied to Arjun at first, but then the truth came out when she joined the Homicide Intervention Team. From the way her character was portrayed, it seemed like she was obsessed with Arjun, and was so fascinated by his aura that she couldn't even see his flaws. Anyway, back to the main plot, Arjun infiltrated Alpha's group and saw what was happening there. Another shocking twist came when Arjun realized that one of his colleagues, SI Diwakar, had been taken hostage.

Arjun knew that Alpha had installed signal jammers at the place, but guess what? He had a pet vulture that carried a radio transmitter to Mrudula and the team, using which Arjun's location could be tracked. And no, I'm not making this up; in fact, a human-sized vulture came to Arjun's rescue. Even though Alpha had been running such a discreet operation for years, the security at his stronghold was quite weak. Also, despite having hundreds of personnel, he couldn't stop supercop Arjun Sarkaar. Eventually, all of a sudden, SP Krishna Dev, alias KD, of HIT Team Hyderabad, arrived at the scene. The man entered Alpha's den and helped Arjun kill all the criminals. Alpha and his men were eventually killed, though, from his description to the events that transpired, nothing seemed remotely convincing.

In the mid-credits scene of Hit: 3, we saw that a police officer named Veerappan, an IPS officer from Chennai, caught two men who had bodies hidden in their truck. The truck driver told the police officers at the checkpoint that they had sand in the truck, not thinking that anyone would suspect hidden bodies. The driver thought that if he spoke in his native language, no one would be able to understand what he was saying. But our protagonist was fluent in all Indian languages. He caught them, and in the next part, we will know exactly who those truck drivers were working for. There is a strong possibility that Veerappan will cross paths with Arjun Sarkaar and KD, and they will join forces to wage a war against crime and corruption. I think the HIT team might go international in the fourth part and try to track down those who were running the Swedish pharmaceutical company. That said, I just hope the makers create a better story in the fourth part and execute it convincingly.

They're all vying for the same thing: critical acclaim, huge box office revenue, or a sudden surge in streaming subscribers thanks to established fandoms. But it's a long shot: Will they become a "Borderlands" movie flop or a "Last of Us" hit? Next month, Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Microsoft are going for box office gold with a different kind of game-to-movie adaptation: "A Minecraft Movie." Director: Jared Hess Writers: Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener Stars: Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers For the uninitiated, Microsoft-owned "Minecraft" is a sandbox game that immerses players in the Overworld, a whimsical dimension made up of blocky, box-like voxels. Straw 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The prolific creator's latest film is a typically melodramatic, yet powerful and relevant, depiction of the systemic miseries that drive a hapless heroine into a police standoff. Even die-hard fans of the tireless Tyler Perry sometimes wish he'd slow down a bit and focus on quality over quantity. But Netflix's "Straw" possesses a cultural urgency that elevates it above its usual repertoire of melodramatic comedies and dramas, despite its flaws. Starring Taraji P. Henson as a single mother burdened with more crises than one woman can handle in one day—resulting in a "Dog Day Afternoon"-style hostage situation—"Straw" exhibits the usual flaws of its writer-director-producer. Director: Tyler Perry Writer: Tyler Perry Stars: Taraji P. Henson, Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor It's overloaded with plot devices, histrionics, and in-your-face messages, with an overabundance of everything. Yet what breaks the camel's back for this subdued heroine ...
