Created by Arthur Conan Doyle, the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes holds the Guinness World Record for the most film adaptations of his characters. Previously, CBS announced a Sherlock Holmes-themed spin-off series called "Watson." The series will focus on the detective's friend and partner, Dr. John Watson, after his death. Now, the CW has decided to add another adaptation. An adaptation titled "Sherlock & Daughter" is coming soon.
Stars: David Thewlis, Blu Hunt, Paul Reid

Known for his coldness and impeccable logic, the original Sherlock Holmes was perhaps the least likely character to initiate a romantic relationship and father a child. Irene Adler, whom countless adaptations would portray as Sherlock's sole love interest, only appeared once in one of Conan Doyle's stories. She never actually began a romantic relationship with the detective.
Starlings Television Distribution, Albion Television, and StoryFirst are producing 'Sherlock & Daughter.' James Duff is the showrunner and executive producer of the series. Brendan Foley created, wrote, and produced the detective drama. Micah War Dog Wright and Shelly Goldstein are the series writers. Karine Martin, Chris Philip, Peter Gerwe, Dominic Barlow and Ivan Dunleavy also serve as executive producers.
