In the finale of Netflix's Frozen Hot Boys, Chom and the boys of the Benjatham youth home reunite after Jab finishes his prison sentence. This is a film that tells the classic story of how a little caring, unity, and teamwork can take you a long way. The film tells the story of five youthful boys who bond when a teacher at the home is eager to go to Japan to meet her own father. Chom has been working at this school for a while, with his mother, but she doesn't mind the job at all; all she really wants is the love and affection of her father.
On the other hand, we have five misunderstood misfits who have committed varying degrees of delinquency. To adult society, they appear to be a disgrace, beyond saving, but to Chom, they are an opportunity to take her to her father. You see, Chom's father has moved to Sapporo, Japan, where he has a new family of his own. When he invites her, she thinks she can take some of her children to the snow sculpture festival held there every year. At first, it seems impossible, but soon Chom identifies a prodigy. Can the Benjatham boys win? Let's find out in Frozen Hot Boys.

In a world where no one believes in children or listens to them, Chom discovers that Jab has a real talent for sculpting. Jab's life has been a mess since his mother died, and soon after, he ended up in reform school because his father was a drunk. Although he didn't want to be like him, he ended up in trouble anyway. We never find out if he actually burned down the previous prison or accidentally started a fire, but I guess we can assume that Jab was suffering, and this was just his way of rebelling. When Jab joins Chom's class, because it's seemingly the easiest, he demonstrates great skill by carving a beautiful little bird, even though it's not the homework, and Chom is instantly impressed. For Chom, this represents another connection with her father, who also carved a bird for her when she was a child.
Chom immediately takes heart and decides to enter the kids into the competition. She gives a moving presentation, especially talking about how the boss's face will appear on all the billboards if she greenlights the project, and it works. Jab also makes a beautiful ice sculpture during the presentation, after hesitating at first because I think he senses Chom's pain at wanting to be close to his father. He's also desperate for redemption. There's a gang in this juvenile detention center called the Eagle Fang Gang, and they decide they need to teach Jab and his kids a lesson, simply because they're making something of themselves. Chom had already asked one of its members, Jo, to join his group because he had tattooed eagles on all the gang members and was a very skilled designer. However, he declined because, of course, he wasn't interested. Later, Jo decided to join as well, because Chom asked him to be their designer. Just as Jo was about to stab Win in the hand with a chisel after the gang had brutally beaten them, they were caught. But before the adult guard could hit them, Chom stepped in. It was then that Chom showed he truly cared for them and believed in them, and just like that, a team was formed.
The boys managed to defeat the reigning Thai champions because Chom realized they were cheating, but they also performed very well, and finally, it was time to go to Japan. Before leaving, the boys have a heart-to-heart, expressing how each of them has made mistakes and that, for the most part, they acted on impulse rather than wanting to hurt anyone. Jo killed a boy in self-defense, Toomtam tried to rob a general's safe to stop his mother from hating him, and Win killed his stepfather to prevent him from killing Win's mother.
Just before their scheduled departure date, the boys have to get their parents to sign their papers so they can leave the country. When Jab returns home to his father, a candlemaker who is the reason he carves so well, Jab's father gets too drunk and lashes out at his son. Jab tries to fight back, but accidentally pushes his father, causing head injuries and a broken arm. Jab manages to leave the country, but that's when word gets around that he hurt his father on purpose and doesn't deserve to leave. But can Jab prove his innocence? Not exactly. In Sapporo, Chom leaves the boys alone to go see their father because, technically, that's the whole reason he's there. He meets their father, and at first, everything is wonderful. He feels like a little girl as they build snowmen together. But when it comes time to meet his new family, his father starts to change his strategy.
During the Frozen Hot Boys finale, the boys don't win the competition, but they receive an honorable mention for their phoenix sculpture. They may not have won the competition, but by then, they had won the hearts of the Thai people by working together even when it seemed things weren't going their way. Like the bird's wing that almost broke, the boys were nearly broken before joining this team. Chom tells them to add more snow and water to fill the gaps, just as she cared for the boys with love and support, but most importantly, by believing in them. In the end, Jab is arrested because he was already 18 when he assaulted his father, but the team has supported him since his release from prison.
The boys watched their snowy phoenix ignite and take off because it meant they had finally taken a complete risk without worrying about the consequences or having the wrong reason for doing so. They eventually rose from the ashes, the "Frozen" "Hot" Boys. Frozen Hot Boys ends on a positive note, reminding us that with just a little support, faith, and help, carbon can be turned into a diamond. So, the boys are improving, and Chom will always be remembered for them.
