Graveyard 2025 Tv Series Season 2 Review Trailer Poster

Directed by Abdullah Oguz, the 8-part investigative drama Graveyard introduces us to the Special Crimes Division that was tasked with solving femicide cases. Well, I have to say here that Graveyard season 2 is extremely tedious to watch. The problem is not the length of the episodes but the absurdity of the subplots that are created just to fool the police officers, which was what made it a chore to watch. With that being said, let’s find out what happened in the various episodes and how Onem Ozulku and her team uncovered the truth.

The first case that the Special Crimes Division handled was that of Yasemin Turanli, who worked as a maid at the Sadoglu mansion. Usually, Onem and her team would take over a case after it happened, but this time, they were present at the crime scene while it was happening. Fikret Sadoglu was a rich and influential man, and the police chief, Haluk, often attended such meetings because he knew it was important to establish such powerful contacts. Onem hated going to such places, but this time she was not given much choice.

Stars: Birce Akalay, Olgun Toker, Sehsuvar Aktas

So Yasemin’s body was found hanging in one of the rooms, with a 25-week-old baby still inside her, and at first it looked like it was an act of suicide. Thanks to Feriha, the baby was somehow saved. But the moment the body was sent for autopsy, the truth came out. It emerged that the victim had been lying on her back for 10 to 15 minutes after she passed away. This meant that someone was present at the crime scene when Yasemin died. Onem had an exceptional group of people like Berk and Serdar working with her, and they were quite good at putting two and two together and finding the truth. It emerged that Yasemin was pregnant and that Yasar, Fikret Sadoglu’s youngest son, was the father of her baby. The entire Sadoglu empire was run by Fikret’s eldest son, the charming Tolga, as Yasar was an alcoholic and not someone the family could trust.

Meanwhile, Ozkan, Onem’s boss, who had a very good relationship with Haluk, started acting a bit strangely. It became quite apparent that the man was hiding something from his colleagues. Before Onem and the others could do anything, Ozkan also committed suicide – at least, that was what the police thought at the time they arrived at the crime scene. Just before he died, Ozkan had made a call to Onem and had spoken to her pretending that he was her son. It meant that someone was standing near Ozkan at the time and he didn’t want them to know who he was talking to.

Haluk was disheartened when he found out about this and told Onem that he needed to get to the truth of the matter anyway. Berk had found a key that belonged to Ozkan and he knew that it could lead to the truth. Berk went to talk to Haluk and they realized that the key could be from a car that was parked at a scrapyard. His intuition was right as Ozkan had hidden some important evidence in the trunk of that car. When Berk and Haluk arrived at the scrapyard, some men started shooting at them out of nowhere, but somehow the policemen managed to get out alive.

Berk and Haluk had won the lottery. They found incriminating evidence against the Sadoglu family. However, it emerged, through the files stored on the hard drive and the microbial profile that the policemen obtained from the dress that was used to strangle Yasemin, that it was Yasar who had raped Yasemin, and he was the one who had murdered another woman named Lale Cetin back in the day. But Yasar was not the one who killed Yasemin. Tolga found out that Yasemin was pregnant and knew that it could damage his family's image. He asked Yasemin to hide the fact and stay away from Yasar, but she didn't listen to him. During the party, Tolga realized that if he did nothing, Yasemin might reveal the truth to people. In a fit of rage, he took her to a room and killed her.

Fikret was also arrested by Haluk for murdering Ozkan Yasin. Ozkan had worked for the Sadoglu family and knew about the kind of crimes Yasar had committed from the beginning. But then there came a time when Ozkan became a threat to Fikret and the businessman decided to eliminate him. I think that manipulating Tolga into testifying against his brother and father was a masterstroke by Onem and his team. Tolga testified because he wanted to save himself, but he didn't know that he was digging a grave for his family.

In Graveyard Season 2 Episode 3, we saw that Aycan Ozata, a hematologist, was murdered after a fight broke out in her hospital between the patients and the doctors over a mishap. The first suspect was Sefa Aydin, a boy whose mother was admitted to Aycan’s hospital and eventually succumbed to her illness under Aycan’s supervision. Serdar interrogated the boy and through evidence obtained from the crime scene, it was learned that the doctor was already dead before Sefa stabbed her. Poisoning was considered to be the reason behind Aycan’s death but Onem and his team had no idea who could be behind it. Aycan was suffering from stage 4 cancer and Onem assumed that the killer wouldn’t have known about it as otherwise they wouldn’t have bothered to kill her. Aycan had a life insurance policy and the only way it would pay out was if she didn’t die from an illness. So basically, it was concluded that the insurance money could have been a motive behind her death. Onem discovered that Aycan’s husband, Dr. Oktay, was the one who was supposed to receive the money and furthermore, it was discovered that he had been having an affair with one of his colleagues, Nihal Arabaci.

Although Nihal and Dr. Oktay were the prime suspects, they were not the ones who committed Aycan’s murder. It was learned that a fraudulent spiritual guru, Mehmet Duman, had had a falling out with Dr. Aycan and that the latter was trying to gather evidence to unmask the man. Mehmet had started a new company, where he became a bioenergy and quantum specialist, and claimed that he could treat people through transcendental meditation. Aycan discovered that this man had told his patients that they were cured and then given them a false report. One of those patients had died of a heart attack after he had told them that they were cured. Onem and his team went to interrogate him and realized that he was a scammer. The moment Onem and his team left for Mehmet’s house, he called Nihal. Onem realized that Nihal was the one who was helping the fraudulent spiritual guru create fake test reports. When Onem started digging into Nihal’s past life, he came across another shocking revelation. Nihal had forged all her degrees and documents, and she was not a real doctor. The real Nihal Arabaci was living and practicing medicine in the US. This imposter’s real name was Kezban, and her greed had led her to endanger the lives of many patients. Kezban tried to commit suicide, but fortunately, she was saved by police officers and taken to the hospital just in time. They found a syringe near Kezban, and Onem realized that it was the same syringe that was used to inject Aycan with the poison. Traces of lavender oil were found in that syringe, something Onem and Berk had seen Mehmet use.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...

Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 2026 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The Netflix adaptation of *Steel Ball Run*—whose two-part premiere masterfully condenses the first two volumes of the manga—stands as a celebration of Hirohiko Araki’s creative clean slate. While *Steel Ball Run* serves as a highly recommended entry point into *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure* for newcomers, much of its value lies in a prior familiarity with the six-part saga created by Araki. And although the prospect of diving into such a vast and chaotic world may seem intimidating, that very familiarity makes the thematic brilliance of *Steel Ball Run* all the more poignant. Throughout its first six parts, *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure* told a fascinating saga centered on the legacy of the Joestar family. The franchise's seventh installment, *Steel Ball Run*, transports this globe-trotting adventure story to the United States of the 1890s. Araki has crafted a standalone narrative continuity that draws heavily upon the mythology already established within the *JoJo* universe.  Star...
