Caught 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix surprises us with a new Harlan Coben crime thriller, not for the faint of heart. Based on Coben's 2010 novel, Catch, this captivating story centers on a missing teenager and a journalist who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth. And, beware, it's a chilling adventure.

Packed with all of Coben's signature twists and turns, the series marks a milestone for the author, as it's his first Latin American adaptation and was filmed in Argentine Patagonia. The chilling trailer reveals a predator on the loose in the streets of the Argentine city of Bariloche. But what he doesn't know is that investigative journalist Ema Garay (Villamil) is on a mission to find him.

Stars: Tonglan Qiu, Soledad Villamil, Juan Minujín

This new six-part series is the first Latin American adaptation of Harlan Coben's work and is filmed against the backdrop of Argentine Patagonia (the scenery alone is breathtaking!). Based on Coben's 2010 best-selling novel, Trapped, this thriller centers on journalist Ema Garay (Soledad Villamil), who has made a name for herself in the industry by exposing criminals, specifically sexual predators, who manage to evade the law and bring them to justice.

However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Leo Mercer (Juan Minujín), a respected figure in the community who becomes the prime suspect in her investigation into the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl. In her search for the truth, Ema's investigation unravels a web of interconnected mysteries and suspects. The question is: can she trust her own instincts or the motivations of those around her? And is it worth risking everything to find this predator?

If you haven't read the book, you won't find any spoilers, but we assure you that, in true Coben fashion, it's a fantastically twisty and extremely exciting story. And, since Coben is an executive producer (as he is on all of his television adaptations), we have no doubt that the Netflix version will be just as brilliant.

We're excited to announce that an adaptation of Coben's 2019 novel, Run Away, is in the works. The series, which follows a father trying to find his daughter, whom he lost to drugs and an abusive man, will star James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, and Minnie Driver. Netflix has yet to announce an official premiere date, but we expect it to premiere in early 2026.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Dhurandhar 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Dhurandhar's story unfolds against the backdrop of significant terrorist attacks in India, focusing particularly on harrowing incidents such as the hijacking of flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999, the Parliament attack in 2001, and the devastating 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. The film depicts a daring covert operation led by the head of India's Intelligence Bureau, Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan. Structured in several chapters, the film introduces the viewer to a complex narrative that explores themes of revenge, sacrifice, and national security. The first half successfully intertwines traumatic real-life events with fiction, creating a thought-provoking plot that encourages audience...

Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
