Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Prestige movie season is over or far behind us, depending on your perspective. Why are we mentioning this? No way! In unrelated news, here are stars Eva Longoria and Paulina Chávez rocking adorable looks at the premiere of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Bad Road Trip.

Disney+ is gearing up for the return of a classic with the release of a new trailer for Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Bad Road Trip. The upcoming film will present the narrative audiences have grown accustomed to from a new perspective. A Hispanic family of Mexican and Colombian descent will take a road trip to Mexico City to reconnect with their heritage. But while the context of this story has changed, viewers can expect the same chaos seen in previous iterations of Judith Viorst's concept.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Bad Road Trip quickly became Judith Viorst's most beloved book. The story was previously adapted for a theatrical release directed by Miguel Arteta. Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner were cast in the film's roles as the protagonist's parents. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Terrible Road Trip has managed to become a story that transcends the narrative presented by the book when it was published in 1972. The upcoming Disney+ film will continue the legacy of the character that audiences have followed for decades, on a journey that will take the Garcia family through unexpected twists and turns.

The new trailer for Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Terrible Road Trip introduces the main character, played by Thom Nemer, as a young boy troubled by a statue he found in his attic. The boy believes the figure may curse his family and their planned road trip. Alexander's parents, Val (Eva Longoria) and Frank (Jesse Garcia), have previously explained that nothing bad will happen because of the statue. But his parents' statements won't stop Alexander from thinking about the disastrous possibilities this figure represents for his future.

The new version of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Terrible, Terrible Road Trip was directed by Marvin Lemus. The filmmaker previously worked on Gentefied, a television series about a group of cousins trying to save their grandfather's taco shop. It's undeniable that the director's industry experience is a perfect fit for the new version of Alexander's journey. The film's cast will also include Paulina Chávez, Cheech Marin, and Cristo Fernández.

We're not big fans of tights or overstuffed skirts, but this one is working for us. It has a simple, casual elegance that feels perfect for a Disney+ movie premiere. The makeup and hair are fantastic. No notes. It just works.

She's super adorable. First, her hair and makeup look spectacular. I love the jewelry selection, including the string bracelet and beads, which perfectly match the "don't take it so seriously" vibe of a premiere like this. We're not big fans of bubble skirts, but this one doesn't bother us. Our only complaints are that the waist is too high and the tights look weird with a sleeveless dress.

ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD ROAD TRIP follows 11-year-old Alexander and his family as they embark on a dream spring break in Mexico City, only to have all their plans go horribly awry when they discover a cursed idol. The family is tested until they decide to return the idol to its rightful home. The film, starring Eva Longoria, Jesse Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Rose Portillo, Cristo Fernández, Harvey Guillén, Mabel Cadena, Michelle Buteau, and featuring Thom Nemer and Cheech Marin, is directed by Marvin Lemus and written by Matt Lopez, based on the book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst.

The producers are Shawn Levy, Dan Levine, p.g.a., Dan Cohen, and Lisa Henson, p.g.a., with Eva Longoria, Emily Morris, and Shelly Strong serving as executive producers.

They're all vying for the same thing: critical acclaim, huge box office revenue, or a sudden surge in streaming subscribers thanks to established fandoms. But it's a long shot: Will they become a "Borderlands" movie flop or a "Last of Us" hit? Next month, Legendary Entertainment, Warner Bros. Director: Jared Hess Writers: Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener Stars: Jennifer Coolidge, Jason Momoa, Emma Myers For the uninitiated, Microsoft-owned "Minecraft" is a sandbox game that immerses players in the Overworld, a whimsical dimension made up of blocky, box-like voxels. The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...
