The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is coming to Netflix this winter. While the series premiered in Japan in Fall 2023, fans in international territories will now be able to enjoy all the action when the sequel hits the streaming platform, starting in January 2024. The hit franchise has five successful seasons under its belt, and Four Knights of the Apocalypse marks a brand new chapter for both the manga and anime adaptation, expanding the franchise with a new set of characters and story arcs.

The upcoming sequel is based on the Four Knights of Apocalypse manga by Nakaba Suzuki, who also wrote and illustrated the original The Seven Deadly Sins, and ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Set many years after the events of the final season of The Seven Deadly Sins, Four Knights of Apocalypse centers on a boy named Percival who lives in Britannia with his grandfather. He learns of a life-changing prophecy declaring that a group of warriors, called the “Four Knights of the Apocalypse,” will destroy the world, and Percival is destined to be one of them. As doom unfolds and danger looms over the peaceful haven, the young man, oblivious to the complexities of the world, sets out on a journey of discovery and revenge.

Stars: Shou Komura, Paul Castro Jr., Aino Shimada

The sequel series has been in the works since 2022, shortly after the original manga was published, and will be produced by TMS Entertainment, with Maki Odaira as director and Shigeru Murakoshi as scriptwriter. In 2021, the Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga was nominated for the seventh Next Manga Award (Best Print Manga category). The Seven Deadly Sins was one of the first internationally licensed anime series to have a home on Netflix and quickly became the platform’s flagship anime title.

With its growing popularity, fans sought out more film adaptations of the best-selling original manga. The series ran for five seasons, from October 2014 to January 2021, including a special season, released in 2016. Upon its premiere on Netflix, The Seven Deadly Sins became "the fourth most-watched show in its first 24 hours of release on its platform." Between 2018 and 2023, the franchise released four anime films, namely The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky, The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light, and the two-part film, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh. During its run, the anime series also spawned more properties, including four light novels, video games, illustrations, and even a stage adaptation.

And now, with the arrival of the long-awaited sequel series, you can check out all the details including the plot, trailer, cast and characters, and everything else you need to know about The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

On the same day, the streaming service will be dropping three more new releases, namely Alexander: The Making of a God, Baby Bandito, and WIL. But considering that The Seven Deadly Sins has been a long-standing anime franchise with fans all over the world, we can expect all eyes to be on the new sequel.

Things are starting to heat up in the sequel series to Seven Deadly Sins, Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Not only have each of the four knights been formally introduced in the story, but Meliodas has finally made his first appearance in the series since it began over a year ago. With King Arthur's evil turn and his ultimate ambitions still a mystery, the land of Britannia needs saving more than ever.

The Four Knights of the Apocalypse stars its own cast of heroes rather than the Seven Deadly Sins. Each of them is incredibly strong and might even have greater power than their predecessors, considering they are only said to be strong enough to beat Arthur and Merlin. Although most of their powers and abilities remain a mystery, now that they have all been fully revealed, enough has still been revealed to get a basic understanding of who they are and what they are capable of.

The original Japanese voice cast for the upcoming Four Knights of the Apocalypse features a large number of cast members. But as the main protagonists and second most important characters, Shou Komura stars as Percival; Aino Shimada as Nasiens; Akio Ōtsuka as Varghese; Kanna Nakamura as Anghalad; Kikunosuke Toya as Donny; Kouki Uchiyama as Shin; Rikiya Koyama as Pellegarde; Sachi Kokuryu as Arthur Pendragon; Setsuji Satoh as Sylvan; Toshiyuki Morikawa as Ironside; Yuuhei Takagi as Gowther and Yuuki Kaji as Meliodas.

The Acolyte 2024 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

There are three main types of Star Wars stories. There's the kind where you write whatever you want and call it Star Wars, common in the many novels published in the 1990s. There's the kind where you recycle existing Star Wars stories and make them familiar; this has been the primary way of doing things at Disney. But finally, there are the stories that enthusiastically use Star Wars as a setting to create something new. There have been several novels that fit that profile, as did the first season of Andor, and now, four episodes in, it looks like the new Star Wars series The Acolyte, set a century before the movies, also fits the bill. in that category. . The Acolyte centers on a pair of twins, Osha and Mae (both played by Amandla Stenberg). The girls were raised by an unaffiliated coven of Force users, but despite living outside the Republic, the Jedi, including Carrie-Ann Moss's Indara, stuck their noses into these women's affairs, leading to the disaster. As a resu...

Flight Risk 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The plane hijacking movie “Flight Risk,” starring Mark Wahlberg, can keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Wahlberg does a good job playing psychopathic killer Daryl Booth, and the dimwitted informant Winston (Topher Grace) becomes the cherry on top of this super-intense movie. Mel Gibson’s “Flight Risk” opens with U.S. Marshal Madelyn Harris (Michelle Dockery) escorting Winston, the government witness, to a trial. Winston is accused of getting involved with a mob boss. But it turns out that Booth (Wahlberg), the pilot transporting them, is a hitman sent to kill the informant. Director: Mel Gibson Writer: Jared Rosenberg Stars: Michelle Dockery, Mark Wahlberg, Topher Grace The movie takes place mostly inside a small aircraft. Even though the movie takes place entirely in the snowy mountain peaks of Alaska, the movie only shows glimpses of the landscape. The computer-generated special effects in the scenes that show the plane feel choppy. Despite its flaws, “Flight Risk” is st...
