This review is based solely on the first episode and hopefully for anyone who is prepared to perceive it, it will get better, but it was pretty hard to get through the first episode and I'm giving up.
I was going to compare it to the Spartacus series, but despite the lower budget, lower-level actors, and CGI special effects from years ago, Spartacus is so much better, in every way.
Creator: Robert RodatStars: Iwan Rheon, Sara Martins, Jojo Macari
None of the bad things alone would make this one bad, it's just that when you put them all together, the end result is terrible.
The acting is stiff, the CGI special effects are bad by today's standards and are noticeable and annoying, the dialogue is uninspiring, and the whole thing felt a bit like cheap, daytime TV.
The lead actors are respectable, great even, so blame the script/director/producer.q
By the end of the first episode, I didn't care about the characters, I didn't care about the story, and I felt like I had wasted 45 minutes.
There was no life, no emotion, no drama and honestly there is no excuse for a bad production like this.
