The show, which debuted in 2020, was initially expected to be a restricted series, but its prominence has meant it will return for the second cycle, with filming taking place before 2023. The show will be called Belgravia: The Following Section, and It will take place thirty years after the events of the first series in 1871, so it will look somewhat different from the first series.

The new cast will see Harriet Slater, Ben Wainwright, Edward Bluemel and Elaine Cassidy join the show as Clara, Frederick, Dr Stephen Sensitivity and Davison individually. While Clara is portrayed as intelligent and not entirely unmoved to fight for her marriage after learning of her partner's injury, Frederick is portrayed as attractive, affected by Clara, and having a "fierce" hard-working attitude. . Meanwhile, Stephen is a "hopeful and seductive" specialist who becomes captivated by Clara, and Davison plays Clara's housekeeper.
