Once Upon A Star is a love letter to the golden age of cinema and comedy in Thailand. The plot is set in the 1960s and follows a traveling pharmaceutical film unit that brings live-dubbed 16mm films to villages and small towns in Thailand. The team announces and invites everyone in the town to watch the movie. During crucial moments in the shows, they switch roles to sell pharmaceuticals before resuming the films.

Here, he first faces the problem that people didn't like the way he dubbed the female part and he needed an experienced dubbing artist. He then hires a woman and they continue to tour together.
