Once Upon A Star is a love letter to the golden age of cinema and comedy in Thailand. The plot is set in the 1960s and follows a traveling pharmaceutical film unit that brings live-dubbed 16mm films to villages and small towns in Thailand. The team announces and invites everyone in the town to watch the movie. During crucial moments in the shows, they switch roles to sell pharmaceuticals before resuming the films.


Here, he first faces the problem that people didn't like the way he dubbed the female part and he needed an experienced dubbing artist. He then hires a woman and they continue to tour together. They use microphones to provide a live dubbed soundtrack to entertain locals and are very happy with their work.


However, when the Lom Pha Traveling Cinema arrives, which has more modern equipment, it takes all the clients of the Pharma-Cine Unit. Their journey is full of challenges and deceptions as they pursue their dreams. They decide to fight for their dream and continue practicing to improve at dubbing. The trailer evokes strong emotions and offers a promising vision of an engaging cinematic experience.
