Big Mouth 2023 Tv Series Season 7 Review Trailer Poster

Netflix's highly rated hit Big Mouth will return to screens in October 2023 for season 7, and there are plenty of storylines that should return. From the mind of Nick Kroll, the animated series follows a group of tweens through their time in high school, all stumbling into the world of puberty. Big Mouth season 7 will be the penultimate season of the show, as it will end with season 8 sometime in 2024.

After Netflix canceled its spinoff Human Resources after just two seasons, Big Mouth is expected to conclude the stories left behind. Knowing that the show now has a limited lifespan, there are journeys that the writers have left unfinished. A year after the sixth season of Big Mouth aired, fans are eager to see their favorite characters return to their screens and find out what will happen to them next.

Creators: Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll
Stars: Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein

Big Mouth season 6 introduced new character Elijah, who soon began a relationship with recurring character Missy Foreman-Greenwald. When Missy's hormones took control of her, she was excited to start experimenting with Elijah, who was afraid to tell her that she believed he was asexual. At the end of season 6, Elijah and Missy became an official couple. It will be interesting to see how the Big Mouth writers combine Missy's need for intimacy with Elijah's lack, proving that both are valid. However, audiences may see Missy heartbroken once again, pining for someone she can't have the way she wants.

After meeting at a ski resort, Big Mouth season 6 heavily highlighted the developing relationship between Andrew and Bernie. Bernie finally breaks Andrew's heart at the end of the season to pursue a relationship with someone else. Andrew was furious, feeling that Bernie was one of the few girls who really understood him. Andrew is known for his jealous behavior, having previously caused a dramatic scene when he was jealous of Missy's relationship with Lars, so it would make perfect sense that Andrew would decide to win back Bernie, a true romantic at heart.

After returning to Bridgeton with her father, Jessi was surprised by the arrival of a new brother. She took her time getting used to the idea and struggled to bond with Delilah after her birth. In the season 6 finale of Big Mouth, Jessi ends up swapping bodies with Delilah and spends the day as a newborn baby. The experience encourages Jessi to help her family with Delilah and she finally accepts her new sister. Season 7 could be a great opportunity to see Jessi's growth, and being a big sister to her could allow her to reevaluate her priorities, as well as let her guard down when it comes to letting people in.

Throughout Big Mouth, Jay Bilzerian has had two notable love interests: Matthew MacDell and Lola Skumpy. After being forced to choose between the two, Jay ends up dating Matthew for most of season 6. Matthew eventually ends the relationship, feeling that he is preventing Jay from being his true self, leaving the younger Bilzerian devastated. .

The Big Mouth season 7 trailer shows Lola spending time at the Bilzerian house with Jay and his brother Kurt, so it's known that Jay and Lola will at least rekindle their friendship, with the possibility of more. If they do reunite, it will be interesting to see how Matthew will react to the news, even if he was the one who ended their relationship.

Throughout the show, Nick Birch has had three hormonal monsters: Rick (twice), Tyler, and Connie. Nick constantly expresses frustration at the hormonal monsters he has been assigned, fearing that his puberty process has been stunted or delayed. Known for his short stature and large mouth, finishing high school (which has been confirmed as the timeline for Big Mouth season 7) could be the time for puberty to finally hit Nick.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

The Hunting Wives 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Netflix has become a haven for shows about small towns rocked by crime. Last week, we premiered Untamed, where the residents of a town in Yosemite National Park became embroiled in a murder mystery after a girl fell from El Capitan. The show dealt heavily with grief, suicidal tendencies, abusive men, and the colonialists' negative feelings toward the Indigenous community. The Glass Dome told the story of a criminal psychologist who returned to her hometown to attend her stepmother's funeral and found herself involved in investigating a series of murders seemingly connected to her past.  Hound's Hill centered on a Polish author who returned to his hometown to come to terms with a crime he may have committed, only to discover that a serial killer is on the loose, killing the perpetrators—and his name could be next on the list. So, yes, when I watched The Hunting Wives, I completely understood why Netflix bought the rights to this show. What confuses me is, who is this series ...

Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 2026 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The Netflix adaptation of *Steel Ball Run*—whose two-part premiere masterfully condenses the first two volumes of the manga—stands as a celebration of Hirohiko Araki’s creative clean slate. While *Steel Ball Run* serves as a highly recommended entry point into *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure* for newcomers, much of its value lies in a prior familiarity with the six-part saga created by Araki. And although the prospect of diving into such a vast and chaotic world may seem intimidating, that very familiarity makes the thematic brilliance of *Steel Ball Run* all the more poignant. Throughout its first six parts, *JoJo's Bizarre Adventure* told a fascinating saga centered on the legacy of the Joestar family. The franchise's seventh installment, *Steel Ball Run*, transports this globe-trotting adventure story to the United States of the 1890s. Araki has crafted a standalone narrative continuity that draws heavily upon the mythology already established within the *JoJo* universe.  Star...
