TBS dating show “The Big D,” hosted by “Bachelorette” newlyweds JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers, will no longer air on the Warner Bros.
The 10-episode reality show, which follows recent divorcees on their quest to find love in paradise, premiered on July 7.
Stars: Joelle Fletcher, Jordan Rodgers, Casey Costa
“We are evaluating our schedule to ensure we have the right mix of content to support our network strategies,” a TBS spokesperson told Variety. "We are grateful to JoJo Fletcher, Jordan Rodgers and the executive producers of 'Big D' for their partnership during the process."
According to the show's tagline, 10 divorced couples “move to a tropical villa in Costa Rica to relearn how to date and find love among a group of other divorced singles, including their ex. The group engages in eye-opening EX-relationship exercises designed to help singles form connections, make peace with their exes, and ultimately overcome problems that prevent them from dating. In each episode, one person who is not relationship material will be eliminated. Jealous exes may try to send their rival home or maybe even defend their ex's honor – the possibilities are endless.
Kelly Rowland, Omarion, Latto and NLE Choppa will guest star in the final season of 'grown-ish'. Fletcher and Rodgers, who met on "The Bachelorette" in 2016 and married last month, co-hosted the series. The show is produced by Lighthearted Entertainment with Rob LaPlante, Jeff Spangler and Kevin Lee serving as executive producers.
The firing of "The Big D" comes after the Warner Bros. Discovery merger in April, which resulted in the cancellation of other cross-brand projects, including Damon Wayans' TBS comedy "Kill the Orange Bear" and J.J. Abrams' "Demimonde" on HBO. The merger has also caused a lot of upheaval at the company, with a large number of high-level executives leaving.
On Thursday, another round of departures were announced, including Corie Henson, EVP and head of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV; Todd Weiser, senior vice president of programming and development for the Food Network and Cooking Channel; Larry Laque, co-chief information officer and executive vice president of facilities and real estate; Kristin Brown, Senior Vice President of Communications, Investigation Discovery and Travel Channel; Jennifer Driscoll, SVP of Communications, Factual Documentaries and Discovery+; and Doug Seybert, senior vice president of group marketing.
