The story centers on former police chief Mike Atlas and promising young prosecutor Jule Andergast, who reopen an open murder case with different motives, opening Pandora's Box. The two characters play a fallen top ex-cop and a young would-be prosecutor, each with different motives for opening the murder file that was closed and opening Pandora's box.
Can one dangerous pull put two on the bloody trail of a plot that reaches deeper and deeper into the police sphere and even to the most powerful levels of the judiciary in the circuit? Is all this related to the impressive terrorist attack that rocked the city a year and an hour ago? The solution lies in the fall of the policeman, but you have to identify the trigger that will reveal the true content of "Pandora's box".

The setup may be familiar to TV enthusiasts. This is because “Sleeping dogs” is inspired by the Israeli show “Ikaron HaHachlafa” (English included in “The The Exchange Principle”). Soon after, the two find themselves embroiled in a threatening plot in which their colleagues from their groups are believed to be involved. The author of the series has been identified as Christoph Darnstadt.
Schlafende Hunde consists of six episodes and is starting next Thursday June 22 to be seen on Netflix.
