American actress, musician, philanthropist, producer and former model Torrey DeVitto (38 years old) plays Ilana. DeVitto is best known for her roles in various television series, including Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, Army Wives, and Chicago Med. Her film credits include I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, K–ler Movie, Heber Holiday, Green Flash, The Rite, Cheesecake Casserole, Evidence, and Stevie D. Ilana (DeVitto) and her Greek boyfriend Mike (Tsimitselis) travel to Santorini for his sister. Alex's (Katerina Konstas) wedding, where all of her relatives immediately welcome her with open arms. When Mike surprises Ilana by asking her to marry him in the same lighthouse where her father proposed to her many years earlier, her well-intentioned and overzealous mother Athena (Sirtis) goes into overdrive, excited to have another daughter.

Ilana gets caught up in the vortex of Athena's attempts to "help," including buying a wedding dress for her soon-to-be daughter-in-law and making a church reservation... even though Ilana and Mike aren't quick to set up a date. date or plan to have a big fat Greek wedding. As Alex's big day approaches and preparations escalate, Ilana grows uneasy about what the future holds for her and Mike, leading her to wonder if they're really meant to be together or if love is just Greek for her.
