NBC's summer primetime lineup will include the series premiere of LA Fire & Rescue. New docuseries from prolific executive producer Dick Wolf premiere June 21, 2023, with new episodes airing on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. m. ET/PT.
Life as a member of the Los Angeles County Fire Department can be dangerous, but it's all part of a day's work.

Executive produced by Dick Wolf and premiering June 21, NBC LA's new docuseries LA Fire & Rescue takes viewers into the real calls, real rescues and real heroes of LACoFD, and PEOPLE has a Exclusive first look at the trailer.
"This is life or death," a lifeguard says in the clip, noting that when time is of the essence "there is no room for error."
"Life is literally in our hands," explains another LACoFD member. "That's why we fight. We fight for life."
The documentary series focuses on seven fire stations that are part of the huge Los Angeles County Fire Department. LACoFD's Air Operations and Lifeguard divisions are also featured in docuseries by Dick Wolf and Tom Thayer of Wolf Entertainment, Rasha Drachkovitch of 44 Blue Productions, and Robyn Younie. Younie is the showrunner.

“Responsible for protecting the life and property of 4 million residents living in 59 Los Angeles County cities, LACoFD's 2,300 square miles of service is unlike any other in the United States. The series documents real-life drama and calls while putting a face on the passionate firefighters who risk their lives in the name of service. These real-life heroes and their captivating stories are told alongside the unpredictable dangers they face on the life-and-death front."
