A trailer has been released to give a first-hand look at the fascinating yet disturbing stories of several infamous influencers who went completely the wrong way with social media for the sake of fame and a brief taste of wealth, even at the cost of friends and family.

ABC on Hulu has long provided true crime fans with the most in-depth retellings of up-to-date stories of greed, corruption, and murder. With 2023 seeing the arrival of new projects including Death in the Dorms, Web of Death, Killing Country and The Randall Scandal, audiences have come together to hear about some truly chilling, hair-raising events. above. Over the course of six episodes, viewers will see how each influencer weaves the web of lies and deceit that ultimately led to their downfall. Audiences will not only hear from the victims and former friends of the subject of each episode, but the influencers themselves will also step up to share their side of the story, adding another layer of intrigue to the latest ABC and Hulu docuseries. As for who we'll be hearing from, the lineup includes social media scammer Danielle Miller aka "Swiffer Girl"; religion-based con artist Jay Mazini; fashion influencer Emily Gellis; reality star Tracii Hutsona; bodybuilder and steroid dealer Tyler Bauman; and the much talked about influential child molester mother, Machelle Hobson.
