The hills are alive with the sound of real estate transactions and disputes. Selling Sunset season 6 is expected to return to Netflix with more D-R-A-M-A and luxury listings for the Oppenheim Group agents, but possibly without a key cast member.
Season 5 recently launched, giving fans a long-awaited look into the beginning and end of the romance between Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim. The show ended on a huge cliffhanger, as Christine Quinn faced accusations of sabotaging Emma Hernan (and later accused Selling Sunset of making false stories). A reunion special revealed more juicy gossip and set the table for season 6 and beyond.
Stars: Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn
Selling Sunset follows the personal and professional lives of a group of women agents at the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles. The series began with Chrishell joining the office as a new agent, which did not go over well with her rival Christine of hers. Subsequent developments have included weddings, babies, and multi-million dollar home sales.
The series has been a huge hit for Netflix, turning the cast members into tabloid stars. It's also launching a spin-off series, Selling the OC.
Here's everything we know so far about Selling Sunset season 6. "Everyone is very excited," a source told the mag, adding that filming for Season 6 would not start immediately so the cast could get "a little break."
Seasons 6 and 7 could follow the precedent of Seasons 4 and 5. They were announced together in March 2021, filmed back-to-back, and released just five months apart. It's possible that the Selling the OC spinoff series will premiere before OG returns and Netflix wants to space out the franchise.
