Behind the company, however, is a cabal of Satanists who want to use their technology for evil purposes. Collider has the exclusive trailer for the film showing Archangel Michael coming to Earth to put an end to his plan to resurrect Lucifer as the god of our world.
The trailer begins by establishing some background. In the distant past, a battle between Lucifer and Michael ended with the latter sealing the devil in hell for all eternity. His war is depicted in the statues that Father Marconi (Joe Doyle) walks his fellow art historian Laura (Alic Orr-Ewing) past while telling her about the Shroud of Turin in his possession. It is a highly sacred item, believed to have been worn by Jesus when he was buried and as such is kept under intense security. The biotech company, however, sees him as the key to bringing Lucifer back, and in the dead of night, steals the shroud, murders Marconi, and kidnaps Laura. However, before he can die, Marconi asks Michael (Peter Mensah) to inhabit his body and take up the fight once more.
