Shaakuntalam 2023 Movie Review Trailer Poster Online

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is no damsel in distress in her upcoming film Shakuntalam. The first trailer for the film also starring Dev Mohan has been released and the actress looks stunning to say the least. The massively edited film is based on Kalidasa's internationally acclaimed Sanskrit play 'Abhijnana Shakuntalam'. The film will be released in theaters in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

'Shaakuntalam', touted as Samantha's masterpiece, will hit theaters on February 17. Directed by Gunasekhar, produced by Neelima Guna and hosted by Dil Raju, this film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Today, the creators delighted everyone by unveiling the big theatrical trailer. The trailer offers fleeting glimpses of the characters, accompanied by a powerful voiceover, allowing us to delve into the aesthetic universe of Gunasekhar's Shaakuntalam. Setting the mood for the magnum opus, it tells the basic story of Shakuntala.

The nearly three-minute long trailer also introduces the fantasy love story between Shakuntala, the daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra, and King Dushyant.

Everyone is in awe of the grandeur and meticulous details in each painting. their disagreements and difficulties in meeting King Dushyant. After getting pregnant, she finally discovers that her love had betrayed her. The poetic trailer sets the scene with beautiful dialogues and visuals.

This movie is going to be a visual feast, no doubt about it. A surprise element of this purely magical love story is the war scene, and the 3D version will take it to the next level. This is Allu Arha's debut film, and her entry at the end about a lion is just brilliant.

Shaakuntalam is based on Kalidasa's internationally acclaimed Sanskrit work 'Abhijnana Shakuntalam'. This prestigious project has its music composed by Mani Sharma.

The all-star cast of the ensemble includes Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Bala, Gautami, and many other notable actors.

The story of Shaakuntalam revolves around the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant of Mahabharata, played by Samantha and Dev Mohan. The film is directed by director Gunasekhar and marks a whimsical love story set in Kashyapa Kanumalu (Kashmir), the grandeur and splendor of the Dushyant Puru dynasty makes the film extraordinary.

Apart from Samantha, Dev Mohan, Shakuntalam stars Allu Arha, Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, Dr.M Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhubala, Gautami, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, Jisshu Sengupta and others. The film will hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
