Set in the 17th century, Hari Hara Veeramallu chronicles "the epic journey of a legendary outlaw." It marks the first partnership of Krish and Pawan Kalyan.

Budgeted at Rs 150 crore, the film features Nidhi Agarwal as the female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan. A Daya kar Rao is producing the film while AM Ratnam is the presenter.

Even though the movie is being shot non-stop, it may not be finished by summer. The film must now choose a new release date. The date was previously announced as March 30, 2023.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is an upcoming Telugu action travel drama film directed and written by Krish Jagarlamudi who is known for directing blockbuster and approved films like Kangana Ranaut starring Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Akshay Kumar directed Gabber Is Back, Gautamiputra Satakarni, and the national award-winning period war drama film Kanche.

Sai Madhav Burra, the popular Indian screenwriter, who wrote the dialogues for Jagarlamudi Kanche, Gautamiputra, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, NTR:Kathanayakudu and NTR:Mahanayakudu as he wrote the dialogues for Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

The film is financed by A. Dayakar Rao in association with A.M. Ratnam under the banner of Mega Surya Production. If we clarify the technical work, Gnana Shekar V.S. and Praveen K.L. have handled the cinematography and editing work while legendary musician M.M. Keeravani composed the film's background music and score.

Given the film's large canvas, extensive post-production is required. The visual effects must also be impeccable. All of this takes a significant amount of time.

The producers are now looking at an Independence Day release date. One option the producer is considering is August 11, 2022. Because the film will also be released in Hindi and other languages, the pan-Indian project is time consuming.
